I know you have already made your decision on  choosing the ATS, but now in the back of your mind you will always wonder if you made the right decision.  My recommendation is to book another cruise later in the year in a crown loft.  :-)

My wife and I sailed on the Oasis last year in a crown loft and are doing it again in a few months.  We have never tried an ATS, but after having such an awesome time up in the "penthouse" of the ship, we never looked back.  We LOVED the breathtaking views from the huge balcony up on the 17th floor, we had a side facing cabin so it was nice and private.  We also used the coastal kitchen a lot, and the concierge lounge was there as well.  We found the crown loft the perfect place to call our home for seven nights.

That was the agreement with the wife that we do the ATS this cruise and the CLS on our next cruise that we will be booking in Feb on the Oasis.

  2. Thanks everyone for your responses, I was going to book the CLS but the wife came home while I was on the phone with RCI and talked me into the Auqa Suite. She wants to stay closer to the 2 year old grand daugher who is just down the hall from the Auqa Suite. She said that the CLS was to many floors away in case the baby wanted to stay with us. You know the old saying Happy Wife means Happy Life.

  3. Have a Grande Suite booked for the Oasis leaving February 25th. Already past final payment and was checking pricing and I am able to move up to an Aqua Theater or Crown Loft Suite for less than what I paid for my Grande Suite. Was just wondering what is the better of the Two. Thinking about changing with out the wife knowing as a little surprise.

  4. A bit off topic but I am trying to plan a family cruise this February, I have a 5 year old grandson who has dravet syndrome which means he is prone to have seizures. He can go months or just a few days without have any siezures. My daughter is not wanting to take him with us because of this and have him go to his dads for the week while we are on the cruise.. I don't want to exclude him from the vacation with all of the family. My question is if we bring him along would he be allowed to go to the kids club and would the medical staff be able to assit if he were to have a seizure while on board the ship?

Thank in advance for any replies.

  5. Wife and I are doing the same thing, we are saving $1100 by leaving out of Cleveland rather than Detroit. We are staying at the Marriott by the airport for $130 for the night and parking for 8 days. The savings will pay for the hotel and parking and rental car in Florida for the week and all our tickets for Disney and Universal Studio's. I found the hotel and parking by doing a google search for stay, park, fly in Cleveland.

  6. Awesome Review, very much enjoyed reading. The wife and I are on Adventure leaving on the 12th and will be stopping at a few of the same ports, was thinking of doing the Land and Sea tour in St Lucia. How much time were you able to get on the beach.

  7. Leaving on Adventure in 46 days for 7 night Southern, seems so far off but yet so close. The wife and I have been to St. Thomas 4 times before but only have taken a taxi to Megens Bay and shopping. We have rented a Jeep for the Day to get out and explore the island this time. Looking for any must see places. Also thinking of doing the same in Antigua. Any  suggestions would be great
