Is the midnight opening of check in based on ship time? There is a hour difference of ship time and my time zone.

That is a very good explanation of what is happening. Having said this, do you believe that RCCL will throttle the speeds on Starlink?

They could always throttle the surf package down to a slower speed. That is how they do it now with the old VOOM.

I have noticed the exact same thing on Allure on my 11/13 7 day voyage. The price back in March was $146.93, then in early September it dropped to $118.93, and today I saw it has dropped again to $104.93. They also dropped the Voom Surf and only offer the Surt & stream. I know they have been working on installing Starlink on Allure, and should be about done. I'm hoping by my November sailing it is up and running. I just find it strange that if RCCL knows Starlink would be up and running by then, why are they dropping prices and doing away with the basic Voom Surf package? Anyway I have been locking in my prices and keeping my fingers crossed. Matt, what say you?

I understand that you have to book your shows after your on board with the app. My question is how do I book a show like in the theater or aqua show for a handicap spot for my scooter? On my last cruise on Odyssey I was just able to show up and got a spot, but we were sailing at half capacity so there was plenty of room.

I know with all the changes taking place almost on a weekly bases that it is next to impossible to say, but at some point, crew members should not be required to wear masks on board. They are working long hours and being choked in a mask all day is just wrong. I for one, miss seeing their smiling faces under those masks. If passengers are not required to wear them, what purpose does it serve for the crew to be required to wear them? Keep testing the crew if you feel this helps. but free up the masks.

I am sailing out of Galveston on November 13th on Allure. Does anyone know how construction is going and if it looks like the new terminal is going to be ready on time?

Junior suites are still charged for room service.

Are the donuts fresh cooked or are they brought on board? I know room service only offers two different kinds and they are NOT cooked on board. If fresh cooked, do they have cinnamon rolls? I heard they have limited hours they are open and run out quickly. Is this the case others have seen?

I was told the menu cards were going away. I have not verified this though.

I would be more than happy to use the freight elevator if #1 I knew where it was at and what floors it went to, and #2, my guess RCCL would never allow a guest to use them.

Does anyone have any tips on getting on the elevators riding a scooter? In the past it's always been a nightmare trying to get on with people pushing in front of you or just flat out not wanting to move over to make room. At times I would just give up and go back to the room. I would never ask someone to get off to make room but would like to ride the elevators without waiting 30 minutes on one to have room. Heck, I would take the freight elevator if they would let me!

It's been some time since I ordered room service. We are sailing on Allure in November and I seem to remember you used to could not order breakfast before 6am. I am a very early riser and like to have my coffee out on the balcony. Can coffee and donuts and muffins be ordered before 6am now?

Is there a charge for the bottle water you pick up at the bar? Personally I like the tap water on a ship just fine. Wife likes to get bottle water and put it in her insulated plastic glass with ice.

Can you use the Diamond drink allowance on the rising tide?
