When parking for Utopia of the seas, is there a different price to park outside the garage than it is to park inside? If so, what is the price difference?
-
What time do they let those with suites on the 17th floor into their cabins? Is it different because a person has to have a key card to get into that area?

I always have a JS. And have submitted the bid for an upgrade on my last 5 cruises. None have been approved. From what I read though, it may be easier to get an upgrade from a balcony to a JS, than from a JS to the grand suites.

I will be cruising on Utopia of the Seas and staying in a suite. When Iat the Coastal Kitchen, if I have a glass of wine at dinner, is there a charge for that or is it a part of the benefits of the Coastal Kitchen?

First time on Utopia. Can't wait for the Beef on Weck at Central Park. I am glad to be going out of Orlando instead of Miami. See you there!!

I am wondering what the price of the Utopia of the Seas Railway restaurant is now. I know it started out as $79, but I think it went up. And if you have been to this restaurant, is it worth the price in your opinion?

I know one can not bring an extension cord onboard that has a surge protector attached. But I have read recently that NO type of extension cord is allowed now on any of the ships. Or as they are called "multi-plug power cords." I wonder if RC is really enforcing such a rule. People have too many items that need power such as a laptop and other chargers, ect. And I wonder if multi-plug outlets also means no power plug that has usb ports attached. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I would pay the $74.99, but from the reviews of it that I have seen, I really don't think $119.99 is any kind of value. Especially when you can go to any of the specialty restaurants have have dinner for two for less money.
-
Have you tried the Train Dining Car on Utopia? What was your opinion of the meal served? Was it worth the money? I have seen it listed at two different prices, so I am not sure if the $74.99 is still the correct price. And lastly, do I have to wait until I am onboard Utopia to make my reservation?
-
I want to make a reservation for the train experience dining while sailing on the Utopia of the Seas. But I don't see it listed anywhere on the Royal Caribbean website. Is there somewhere special I need to check? Or is this one of the specialty restaurants that you can only make a reservation for once you get onboard.

Thank you very much

I notice that many bloggers have past and future cruises listed in their profiles. I have looked for ways to do this, but I am somehow missing it. So, how do I list my past and future cruises?

post-cruise survey question
Safemike1 replied to happy cruisers 2's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
What I don't like about the survey is that when it comes to the MDR, the staff gets dinged if I answer that I didn't like the food. One has nothing to do with the other. The staff is usually excellent, but the food can be a different story. So, instead of praising the staff, I ignore the MDR questions. -
I will be in Labadee in a couple of weeks. Any recommendations of excursions or things worthwhile to do?

And to make matters worse, the State Department just today raised the threat level for Jamaica from a 2 to a 3 level because of 65 murders in the last 4 weeks. I am not giving this information about Nassau (18 murders first 3 weeks) and Jamaica to scare anyone. I just want them to be aware of it and take the proper precautions when traveling to these countries. I am sure that if you book a tour through the ship, you will be fine.
-
My local paper has warned several times now in this past couple of weeks about a warning notice the State Department has put out regarding Nassau. From the paper - "United States residents traveling to the Bahamas should exercise “extreme caution” in Nassau in the wake of 18 murders since Jan. 1, the State Department said in a new travel advisory." I normally don't go outside of the port for this very reason. But, what are your thoughts? And if it is that bad, then why would Royal still be making port calls there?

On Harmony of the Seas, is the sea pass card still being used or did they go to a wristband for passengers?
-
Will Coco Cay allow a small floating inner tube in their main pool? I have never seen one there, but I didn't know if that was because no one brought one, or was it that it is not allowed. I was just in Bimini at Virgin Voyages beach and they actually supply them - after lunch.
-
Am I still allowed to place decorations on the outside of my cabin door? I had heard that some of the cruise lines were prohibiting this practice.
-
I have been thinking of doing the same with the Uber. Do you remember what the cost at the time was?
-
I made my reservation for a Junior Suite on April 29, Harmony sailing and paid with my credit card. But they told me I couldn't choose my own cabin and that RC would have to notify me of the cabin number I will be assigned. And that was about 3-weeks ago. About how long should I expect to wait for r them to assign a reserved, paid-for cabin? And if the paid-for cabin is not available after going through RC Next Cruise to book the cruise, would they upgrade to the next level if they can't give me the Junior Suite?

We ate at specialty restaurants on 3 of the other nights. But when we made our last-minute reservations, we had to check back since there were no openings at the time. (P.S. - We gave the server a very nice tip on the first night and he remembered us. Then when we came in during the day, he helped us get the reservation for the second night)

If a cabin has been comped by Casino Royale, do you still get Crown and Anchor points for the cruise?
-
I just came off the Oasis of the Seas on Sunday (2/5). I was also in a JS and made reservations for two nights at Coastal Kitchen. There was no hassle but I suggest you do it on the first day. Reservations fill up fast.
