I have heard that during the next refurbishment, the area which is now the Diamond lounge (deck 12) will become an Izumi restaurant. Is this accurate and if so...where will the Diamond Lounge be located? Any other major changes anyone knows of? We are booked on her in Oct. of 2024.  Thanks for any insights.

Thanks Ryan79 and USFFrank, We'll keep an eye out for posted Tampa cruises. We are booked on two during this year (Serenade and Grandeur) and three in 2024 ( Radiance twice and Enchantment).  We really enjoy the shorter, 4 and 5 night cruises and Tampa is only a 2 hour drive from our home. Hope they continue to offer them. 

In looking at future sailings out of Tampa, it appears that RC is cutting back on sailings and I see nothing out of Tampa in 2025. Any insights and info re. this would be much appreciated.

Great informative comments. We are scheduled for CVS Rapid Antigen test the day before sailing out of Tampa on Brilliance. We too were concerned about the documentation....lab # etc. Could it be that the Rapid Antigen tests do not actually go to a lab like PCR tests do and therefore no lab # is indicated?

Yes, I'll set up CVS My Chart when I get the test so results are on it.  We are sailing out of Tampa and getting tested at the terminal is always a last resort option. I have noticed that even up to the time of sailing, there are many appointments available .... $105 each, however. The fact that ships are only about 40% full probably helps in that regard. Has anyone done a local pharmacy Rapid Antigen test as the pre-cruise requirement? We have an appointment at CVS the day before sailing out of Tampa and results are supposed to be available within "a few hours". My concern is....Is the documentation of results they provide acceptable to RC?  And....has anyone opted to do the test at the terminal on cruise day? Thoughts???? Thanks.

Very strange. As I type this she is at the dock in Cozumel with loads of cabins lit. It is indicated that her next port of call is Roatan. Strange for a ship "out of service". I think she is due for drydock in a month or so and then headed North to do Alaska cruises. She could be taking a leisurely trans canal jaunt on her way to drydock. Any other guesses?
