  1. Thanks, all, this is very helpful! I was really looking to understand the rule and I do abide by the rules. Sounds like if I want to sunbathe maskless I will do so outside (and probably wait until we reach the warmer temperatures of the Caribbean!). And if I spend time in the Solarium and want to be mask free, I can spend more time swimming and actively drinking which is fine by me!
  2. Hi all — under the new masking rules announced December 17th where guests must wear masks in vaccinated-only areas except while actively eating or drinking, how does that translate to the Solariums on Anthem? Both Solariums (adults only and family) are covered, but they are pool areas. If someone is lounging in a chair to get sun, does he / she have to wear a mask? Thanks in advance!
  3. I haven’t seen the CC thread so would be very interested to hear about your experience, @SummerRose. It’s terrible knowing that it was a bad experience for you, but I would certainly value your perspective (if you are up for it, poor thing!) so I can thoughtfully evaluate whether to proceed with my sailing (albeit on a different ship) in 12 days. Thanks, and be well!
  4. Thanks, @twangster for the explanation. I’m sorry to hear about others’ experiences as well. @BowTieBrigade, do you suppose your challenges (and which ship was that on… Freedom?) were due to improper capacity planning, or because there were crew members who were sick / quarantining? Also curious if you know what the capacity and/ or passenger count was on your sailing? Thanks!
  5. Does anyone know what the recent passenger count and/ or capacity has been for Freedom recently? Thanks!
  6. Sorry, I’m not familiar with the CSO’s impact on Adventure Ocean staffing and/ or capacity. Can someone please educate me? Thanks!
  7. Hi, I’m sailing on Freedom in the next couple of weeks and am looking for some intel on how well the passengers are complying with the mask policies. Hoping that anyone on the ship now, or maybe has sailed on Freedom in the last two weeks, can weigh in. I know that every sailing is different and the mask compliance will largely be driven by the sentiment of the passengers. But part of me thinks that recent mask compliance could be a leading indicator of COVID cases onboard (particularly with the crew). I have seen and heard a number of anecdotes about the mask compliance being poor on Oasis and now I’m hearing that they are cancelling some onboard entertainment (such as shows and live music). I figure this might be because some crew members have been exposed and either have COVID or need to quarantine. Thanks in advance!!
