Anyone feel the cruiselines could get a government bailout like the big 3 auto makers did in 2008? #toobigtofail

I was told very doubtful as I believe they pay very little in US taxes unlike the big 3 automakers with a lot of US employees

I don't think the "30 days" was meant to be literally exactly....sorta like if it's 12:57pm, you naturally convey, it's 1 o'clock or if you paid $49.11, you naturally would say you paid $49. I suspect, that's where the confusion stems; therefore, just look at the resume operation date they give, as your barometer.

I believe carnival was also included in the 30 day pause and I believe they are scheduled to return 4/11 and the 30 day did not start until 3/14

  3. Friday, March 13, President Donald Trump tweeted major cruise lines have agreed to postpone new trips.

"At my request, effective midnight tonight, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and MSC have all agreed to suspend outbound cruises for thirty days,' he wrote. "It is a great and important industry – it will be kept that way!"

That is what was posted I guess Royal Caribbean can't count or maybe it was fake news I was told my cruise of 4/12 was cancelled as it fell in the 30 day pause that Trump talked about.
