They had one before the changes.

    Now just this

When calculating which days you can take your test, be aware that the day you set sail is not counted as one of the days.

So you are saying if we sail on a SUNDAY, that is not one of the days? We need to test THUR, FRI or SAT?? I would've thought the Sunday was included in that 3 days prior to reading this!

We always go to Magen’s Bay when in St Thomas. I suppose you could say this is our favorite place. I have never thought of it as being to crowded. We take a taxi it’s open air and pay the entrance fee and stay at least half day. Our taxi driver was there waiting on us at the time we requested for return to ship, so we didn’t need to find a taxi for the trip back to ship. If you have never been it’s a must. In April we had 7 that went. Everyone enjoyed it the kids are all between 31 and 26. Water is so clear you can see what is around you.

Thanks for your recommendation. We booked the excursion with RCCL, it states that you can be let off for shopping on the way back to ship, but return to ship is on your own dime. I'm not too sure we will do that ,but we will do the swimming/beach break 🙂

  3. I've booked a excursion for St Marteen, and have that all settled. I have no idea what to do in Charlotte Amalie? There are 4 of us in my family, all adults (our boys are 30/26) ....What do you recommend for this Port of call? I was hoping for maybe a ATV tour or something where we could drive our own jeeps/etc.... but looks like that is all in St. Marten.

Charlotte Amalie is looking to be a boring port, and all the Trunk Bay excursions on the ship are sold out so we are out of luck on that one. I've heard Megans Bay is over crowded, but I've never been so if you have and enjoyed it please chime in 🙂

    Thanks for any input!

  4. We will be sailing on Harmony of the Seas in October and am trying to figure out what to do for shore excursions with our boys (29/26) . I am concerned about making it back in time , but there’s not many RCCL excursions that are available to book through RCCL or look interesting. I was considering Captain Bobs speed boat: snorkeling tour by Soualiga Destinations Tours. Hubby also thought a ATV tour might be fun. He wants to see mahalo beach airplanes if we can in whatever tour we do.
Also I am having zero luck figuring out what to do in Charlotte Amalie in st marten .

Please recommend! Will outside tours guarantee we get back in time for sail away?

  5. I paid $14965 for 4 people November 14 saiing in 2021 on the Harmony. I've seen the price range from $8, 000 for someone who booked a cruise on the Allure for 4 departing from Galveston TX. up to $20K for some itineraries, I was surprised to see such a range in price! I am nervous about how far it seems from all things, and the long walks, but that will make up for the extra food and drinks, LOL The room looks beautiful, so I am going ahead with it despite it being on the far back of the ship.

We are on deck 8. Looking forward to it and Star Class

    Marie
