We were informed by our travel agent that if we chose not to take the cruise ( RCCL would give us $201 pp refund for lost days if we chose to go)  we would be given a future cruise certificate, but as our holiday window was extremely short, we were offered a fly cruise to the Caribbean then onward to Las Vegas.  If we'd wanted a Caribbean cruise it would have been booked.  If we chose to not book another cruise we would lose £1600 for flights etc.  So we have booked on a shorter cruise on  Rhapsody, in a downgraded cabin, an ocean view not balcony plus no Las Vegas stay and this has cost, for this downgrade, an additional £160.  We're not happy at all!

  2. I am in the same position, We are booked to sail on the 5th. Its fine for those people who are using it as transfer from UK to USA. We booked this over a year ago wanting the Las Vegas extra. We like sea days but not full transit with only one stop , not 4 stops to warm up then Las Vegas. WE have opted to cancel, with Cruise 1st , but still cannot get and answer as to what we are being refunded.  We have a very short window and want to book something else, but, until we know what we are getting we're in limbo.

They have coffee, tea, water and soda, Why on earth would they want to serve non-alcoholic beer? It's just not financially smart for RCL to invest money in that area.

I see where you're coming from but there are varieties of low calorific lagers which  are not cost effective.   Water is available on tap as is tea and coffee , so sweet sodas is the alternative.     We've travelled RCCL for may years and have noticed how limited variety in the Diamond lounge is becoming.

  4. RCCL Explorer if the Seas is scheduled to cruise Atlantic from Southampton  5th Nov 19.  Just had an Email advising of adverse weather conditions in the Atlantic ,the cruise will now start 9th , there fore cutting short cruise and missing 3 out of 4 ports of call in the Caribbean.  We are told we can cancel and take a refund voucher for a future cruise,  but, although booked as a package with Travel Agent, very unsure if we would get a refund for flights and accommodation..  Does anyone have any guidance please?
