@Matt @twangster I completely agree with you about companies making stuff up, but I personally and my friends and family have used InstaSteam multiple times on different cruise lines. I know that because InstaSteam is electricity free and non flammable, that its allowed. Also if you ask the company or look around they working with a couple main cruise lines at the moment that said they allow it.

@SPS InstaSteam is actually allowed aboard airplanes and cruise ships. I actually think they have a public MSDS stating the safety of the product and I've also heard they're partnering with a couple big cruise lines.
