  1. The pool is Free to enter and enjoy. Purchases were out of pocket and not included with the SeaPass. The Oasis is literally sitting "at" the pool. Here's another photo with the ship in frame.... Super Easy for cruisers of all ages to enjoy. The vendor shops and eateries are plentiful with a various array of Jamaican wares. I brought four women in their 70 & 80's with me and they were able to easily navigate from ship to pool to shops.
  2. I had been to Jamaica 2008 on Liberty for their old port Ocho Rios; booked excursion to All Inclusive Beach Resort, enjoyed a beautiful fun day! Second time we stopped in Falmouth days after they first "opened" the port. We were greeted with a very sad empty concrete drop spot. Royal had hastily put up tents for pop-up shopping and drinks. I booked a shopping excursion "beyond the fence". Even though I do not enjoy shopping; I considered the van ride as a way to view Jamaica. My personal experience was not one that reached my personal comfort level. However....I'm just a country girl and crowded city environments are unfamiliar to me and at times a bit too scary! Then in May 2014 I was leading a group of 17 for a Mother's Day Cruise and we were delighted to find the Margaritaville Pool Bar area!! They have buildings with Food/Bar service to escape the sun. Outside was a Pavilion playing live music! A cute Hot Tub shaped like a Margarita Glass (that's my son standing there for scale, and prior to meeting the 20-somethings who truly enjoyed this higher viewing point.) Everyone in the pool pic was in my group... I suggested that we get off the ship early before the crowds. All 17 made it to the Pool Bar and enjoyed their fruity Jamaican "breakfast"..! Interesting Side Story: Two of the single guys joining on this 2014 cruise - I met on the Liberty cruise mentioned above. They became fast friends!! Joined my boyfriend and I in Vegas twice, NYC three times, two additional cruises and... I just texted him last night to inform of these Harmony dates...he's doing same itinerary in February. Because of my long friendships with Armando and Keith...I hop on every cruise with great anticipation for the new friends that I will gather! P.S. Both of my avatar photos that I used for this BlogSite are from the Margarita Pool..!!
  3. You were RIGHT...!!! Both...how Suite is that...!!
  4. @WAAAYTOOO I believe you are correct as I rarely have seen any available. Exactly what was happening this time. I never gave up hope... hitting the site couple times a day and was delighted to actually see one!
  5. Looking for any info whatsoever on these Little Gems..! My sister/boyfriend + 3 other couples are each in four of the Crown Loft Suites for her Birthday. I missed this same exact lineup last year!! So this time I'm jumping on!! I booked Last Minute which leaves me to travel alone for the first time. So...I grabbed a Studio Solo Cabin. Jokes aplenty from this loving group already....!! They say I'm in "Steerage" because Studios are all on Deck 4. Ha Ha Ha...they so funny! I will miss having my own balcony this time. (BUT, No worries as I plan to crash little sister's PoshPad with morning coffee) I do have a giant window in my cabin; as 2 of the 15 Studio's do not. I've seen the video online of my exact cabin #4662. Immensely grateful for people who post those videos! Now I'm just fishing for information from actual Studio cruisers who have enjoyed or... endured their week. I will take the good with the bad. I'm packing my handy suction cup hooks to hang up clutter. The closet looks like a tiny slice of space bedside. Enough to hang 2 Formals with couple Club Dresses. I see two over the bed cubbies. Also some shelves with a drawer in safe closet. Thankfully that area closes as I will cram a great deal in there!! Curious if I can shove my luggage under the bed again? P.S. I actually do travel a great deal; pack often and still lack the enviable skills necessary to bring "just enough". ?
  6. What a GREAT BLOG space I have fallen into....!! Thank you for all of the "Hugs"...! I will now go in search of anyone who sailed Oasis class Solo Studio Cabins. This cruise I booked last minute to join my little sister/boyfriend + 3 couples all in four Crown Loft Suites. It's her Birthday cruise so I jumped on ship!
  7. I am new to this Royal Blog site... I am very familiar with the Cruise Critic site... where ya chat it up with fellow Ship Mates prior to sailing. Is this possible here? I am just trying to navigate this new platform... Thanks for the Help..!
