They said there’s a place you can pay 10 dollars per bag to store your luggage at the airport in San Juan. I contacted them. I still don’t know if that would be worth it or not... such a pain, do you think our travel agent would have suggestions?

So when we booked the cruise we purchased the Royal Caribbean round trip airport transfer. Our flight doesn’t leave until 4:45pm and my husband and I would like to explore old town San Juan. Any suggestions on the best way of doing this? Do we just not do the airport transfer and get a taxi instead? Can we explore San Juan and get the RC transfer later in the day? Should we take the airport transfer right after disembarking and store our luggage at airport and then take taxi from airport to explore San Juan and back? I have no idea what I’m doing as this is our first cruise. Any suggestions welcome! Thank you!!

We’ve arranged to have royal Caribbean transportation since we’re flying in to San Juan but our flight gets in at 9:30 a.m. we purchased the key and now I’m worried we’re going to be waiting around at the airport on the shuttle for a long time when I could be getting my vacation started!

My husband and I are going on the Freedom of the Seas in July for our 5 year anniversary. I think there will be a formal night on our actual anniversary (night 6 of our 7 night cruise). I have been on cruise planner and want to get an updo for the formal night but I’m not sure of the particulars. Should I wait to book an appointment until we are on the ship? I am worried there won’t be appointments left if I wait. Has anyone had any experience with this? This is our first cruise so I know nothing about how any of this works! Thanks!! Ashley
