  1. Day 7 continued: Sunil told us to meet him in the suite lounge at 10:20am. The genies had all of their guests do this, and then we priority elevatored down and pretty much got off the ship immediately. There was one genie at the top elevator, one at bottom elevator, and one right outside. It was very quick and worked well since they could priority the elevator back and forth to get Star Class families without having to worry about it stopping on any other floor between. Sunil said this is the first time they've done it this way, and because it worked so well, they would probably stick with it. Coco Cay:
  2. Day 7: In the first few days of the cruise, we received a letter that we need to register for the kid's rapid antigen test for day 7. We registered all of the kid's for the 8:30am appointment and were planning on having breakfast in our room at 9am before getting off the ship in Coco Cay. What we didn't realize was how long the line would be. We assumed 8:30am meant an 8:30am appointment, but the line was the longest one I have seen the entire trip. I'm not sure about other times, but it seemed like 8am-9am was very busy. One reason for this is we were supposed to get to Coco Cay at 10am, and kids are not allowed off the ship until they get their negative result. It was only supposed to take about an hour for results, but we didn't get our email until almost three hours later. It worked out ok for us though, because Steven and I were planning on getting off the ship in Coco Cay without the kids first so that we could ride the big waterslides, and then going back to get them and taking them to the waterpark. I feel bad for anyone who was planning on taking their kids off the ship first thing though. Keep this in mind when planning your testing. If you are going into port and want to get off the ship early on day 7, I recommend planning your testing earlier than 8am.
  3. Day 6 continued: We picked up the kids and asked both of the older two if they wanted to go ride the waterslides, but they opted for pizza and video games instead, so Sunil had pizza, fries, and fruit delivered to the room for them. I really don't know what they are going to do when they get home and can't have pizza for every meal. Steven and I had 150 Central Park reservations for the evening. We always try to do 150 as our date night restaurant, so we brought the kids back to Adventure Ocean and Royal Babies and Tots after a few hours. They were excited to be back. We met Sunil at 150 Central Park where we had a nice conversation. Our server was very nice, but it was much different than the other restaurants. At the other restaurants, we had our main server taking care of us, plus other servers, and the restaurant managers would come by numerous times asking if everything was to our liking during the meals. We even had the Mad Hatter at Wonderland serving us food and continually bringing the kids cotton candy. At 150, our server took care of us but we really didn't have any one else stopping by the table. We did enjoy having everyone fawn all over us at the other restaurants especially since they kept the kids occupied, but it was kind of nice having a quiet meal since the kids weren't there. For our meal, I had ceasar salad, seared honey glazed scallops, roasted spiced pumpkin bisque, and lobster thermidor. Steven had ceasar salad, crispy Berkshire pork belly, and pan-seared veal medallions. We have always really enjoyed the food at 150, and this trip was no different. It was delicious, and we ate so much that we didn't have room for dessert. The presentation of the food was beautiful as well. We even pulled up a picture to compare the presentation from when we were on Allure; and while it was delicious at both, Symphony definitely wins on presentation. On the way to get the kids, I realized we hadn't had Baked Alaska on this trip, so I messaged Sunil and asked for some to be delivered after we picked up the kids. After picking up the kids, we returned to our room to find a towel animal surprise. We always keep all of the towel animals, so that we have a towel animal menagerie at the end of the trip. After the first towel animal, I put it on the desk in the master bedroom, but the next day, the room attendant took it even though it was set to the side. I was going to ask him not to take any more, but our paths didn't cross. We had one towel animal (our 2nd towel animal) and were getting off in port. I was still unable to find him, so I called Sunil and asked him if he could let him know not to take the towel animal that we like to have a zoo at the end of the trip. Sunil made sure we had our zoo, because we returned to the room to find... Sunil also called soon after we arrived to the room and asked if we were ready for our baked Alaska, which was yummy as always and a good end to the day. 150 Central Park: Baked Alaska:
  4. Day 6 continued: After decorating cupcakes, the kids went to Adventure Ocean and Royal Babies and Tots to burn out some energy while Steven and I rode the flowrider and all of the waterslide onboard. The flowrider was a lot busier than it had been. There were probably 20 people in line and another 15 or so watching when we got there. We asked the guy on one side of the flowrider where he wants us to stand or sit for Star Class priority, and he said we have to get in line with everyone else. Of course, we knew this wasn't true, so we found a different employee who we knew was familiar with Star Class. He said the other guy doesn't usually work there and is only there for Covid protocols. He then went and spoke to the guy running the flowrider. Before, they were doing 3 guests, 1 star class, 3 guests, 1 star class, etc. This time they did 4 guests and then both Steven and me. I guess they switch it up based on who is running the flowrider and how busy they are. We also rode each of the waterslides. The two enclosed waterslides called The Perfect Storm were ok. They were pretty hot and muggy inside and not very fast. The Supercell waterslide was our favorite on the ship, so we rode it twice. The lines for the waterslides were way shorter than we expected especially for a sea day. On some of the slides, there was no line at all and the longest waterslide line had maybe 3 people in it. It seemed like the majority of people on the pool deck, were either lounging or in the pool. Again, we didn't notice any limits for the amount of people in the pool. We finally had a chance to try El Loco Fresh. It was pretty standard. If we didn't have all the specialty restaurants included, we would have probably spent more time there, but it really didn't compare to specialty dining or even the room service steak quesadillas. It was good just not great. El Loco Fresh:
  5. Thank you and oh yes! They were pretty wired after all that icing. They did. Sunil was absolutely amazing. Despite all the restriction, he still found a way to make the trip special for all of us. Yes, they do! Royal definitely chooses the best of the best when selecting their genies. It is incredible how they make each guest feel so special and make each experience so unique.
  6. I'm really feeling Nyssa's pain. When I told her we were getting off the ship to go home today, she very sadly said, "But why? I want to stay here!" Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
  7. Day 6 continued: When we got back to the room, Sunil had a surprise waiting. Right now, they are not allowed to do the cupcake decorating class, and he told me he had tried his best but they aren't allowing it, so he did the next best thing and brought us the stuff to do cupcake decorating. The kids were so excited, and they had a lot of fun decorating and eating cupcakes. This was not something we asked for. It was just yet another thing Sunil did to make the trip special. He also got Steven and me a ship model, but he went one step further and had it signed by the Captain. The kids have already told us they want to request Sunil when we go back on Symphony in April and we are in complete agreement with them. Cupcake decorating:
  8. I was worried about the testing as well, but they have done great. We only have had to do it three times though: three days before, at the terminal before boarding, and then on day 7 (tomorrow morning). It is really fast so I would not let the testing alone be your determining factor. After this experience, I am 100% doing my Star Class cruise in November. I had contemplating doing this one with all of the restrictions and testing requirements, and I'm so glad I did. We have had so much fun, and our genie, Sunil, has been amazing and has quickly resolved any issues we've had. All of the kids have had a complete blast. The older kids miss some of the stuff from before, but are still having a wonderful time. The little ones are going to be so sad when they find out we have to get off the ship on Saturday as they are loving every minute of the cruise. In fact, Kat (2 year old) keeps drawing us pictures of the cruise, and she always draws us her favorite things. Honestly, my recommendation would be to wait until the protocols for your sailing are released and decide then if you still want to cruise. Even on this cruise, the rules are changing every day. Many of them have gotten way more lax. As I mentioned in my earlier blog posts, a few days ago, they were only allowing 5 people in the pool at a time, and then, today I passed the pool and there were 33 people in it (31 at another time, and there's a picture below of the third time we passed by). Also, on day one, genies were not allowed to sign your kids in and out of Adventure Ocean, but now with parent's permission, they can. Things are constantly changing, and as annoying as the wait and see approach is, right now, it's for the best. One of the times I walked past the pool today and it's much different than just a few day ago:
  9. Day 6: Today is a mixed bag of emotions. We are, of course, so happy to be on a cruise, but today is the last sea day and tomorrow is the last full day of the cruise, so we are starting to get the "cruise is almost over" blues. I feel like there is so much still to do onboard. It really is amazing how much there is to do on an Oasis Class ship. We decided we'd use the first part of the day to try to do some activities that we haven't got to yet, so after breakfast, we set out to have some fun. Christian wanted to do the zipline, so we headed there. It was supposed to close at 11:45am, and Christian and I got there at 11:25am. The height requirement is 52 inches, and he was plenty tall enough; but the weight requirement is 75 lbs and he was 74.2 lbs. Steven showed up 2 minutes later and took him to get a water at the bar right near us to see if it would push him over the 75 lbs. While I was getting my harness on for the zip line, I told them that Steven also was wanting to ride and Christian wanted to try to weigh himself again. They told me they weren't taking anyone else, and this was at 11:34am which is 11 minutes before they were supposed to close. I know I could have called Sunil, but figured I'd just mention it to him later. The Ultimate Abyss is right near the zip line and it was another thing on our to-do list for the day, so Steven, Christian, and I all rode it. It was slower than I expected after all the youtube videos I've seen, but I was told the humidity can affect the speed. It was still fun though, and Christian rode it twice. We passed the pool deck at one point and were so surprised at what we saw. We counted 33 people in one pool at the same time. I guess they are loosening some of the restrictions. In addition, almost all of the pool deck chairs were taken. It almost felt like pre-Covid times seeing everyone out on the deck having a blast. We then went to Sugar Beach, before heading to our room for lunch delivery from Johnny Rockets and a surprise from Sunil. Zip line and Ultimate Abyss:
  10. I do believe some of it is water retention, but most of it is weight gain. I'm the same way at home. It should not be scientifically possible to gain weight like I do, but atleast, I have almost two months to lose it before I pig out on the next cruise.
  11. Haha! I feel you. I stepped on the scale at the gym on Day 3 and was already up 7 lbs. I can only imagine what it is now lol. It was also very nice seeing you guys again. Have a great rest of the cruise!
  12. Day 5 continued: Dinner tonight was at Wonderland. It was our first time there, and it was a lot of fun. We booked it for the experience not necessarily for the food. The service was great, and the food wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. It definitely was interesting and very different, but I did enjoy some of the food. For the food alone, I doubt I'd book Wonderland; but between the food and the experience, I would go back. I honestly couldn't tell you half of what we ate as we went with the server's recommendations. At Wonderland, you choose an element or you let them pick and bring out the favorites or recommendations which ends up including foods from all of the elements. They brought Steven's and my food out as they normally would and gave Steven extra sriracha when we told them the spicier the food the better for him. For the kids, they left out any ingredients that would make it spicy. We had the kids try a lot of the food, but they were not fans of Wonderland until they brought them cotton candy. They also brought us an apple happy birthday cake and the kids got to blow out the candles. We ran into @Traveler at dinner and then again at the casino after we dropped the kids off at Adventure Ocean. After losing a little money, we were tired and decided to call it a night. Wonderland: Us with @Traveler:
  13. Day 5 continued: As I've mentioned before, we are calling this cruise a birthday cruise for the family. It really isn't any of our birthdays, but the kids have all had birthday cruises canceled because of the shut-down and they have been upset about that, so we told them when we eventually get to cruise again, we'd have a birthday celebration cruise. When we got back onboard, Sunil had left us a surprise.
  14. Day 5: Usually I message Sunil exactly what we want delivered for breakfast the next morning, but last night I told him the same thing as yesterday morning. Of course, it was not exactly the same thing. Steven didn't get his jalapenos in his eggs or his hot sauce on the side and I didn't get my celery (I dip it in hummus). There was also a few other slight inconsistencies in the meal, but it was still good. I think I will just stick to listing out our breakfast order each morning instead as that seems to work better. After breakfast, we dropped off the kids at Adventure Ocean and Royal Babies and Tots and headed into port. St. Thomas was already much prettier than St. Maarten, and we were excited to get off the ship and explore. We had three hours of Adventure Ocean scheduled, so we were limited on what we could do in port. We still were undecided on Skyride to Paradise Point or Mountain Top, but the first person we saw selling excursions was a man selling Island Tours that including Mountain Top that was about two hours long, so we figured it was meant to be. It was $25 per person, and it was informative and allowed us to see some pretty views of the island. The last stop was Mountain Top. We were only there for a short time, and between the view and the gift shop, I wish we could have spent more time there but it worked out since we were limited on time anyway. After the tour, we headed back on the ship and getting back on board was a breeze with no lines which we appreciated since it had just started raining really hard. While in St. Thomas, you are required to wear a mask even outside whether you are vaccinated or not. I saw people getting told to pull up their masks multiple times. They didn't say anything if you took it off for a quick picture, but anything longer than that, they would. Overall, we really liked what we saw of St. Thomas, but there was a lot we didn't get to, so we look forward to coming back. St. Thomas:
  15. Day 4 continued: After getting back on the ship, we went to dinner at Jaime's Italian. The service was great, but we were not fans of the food. Giovannis on Allure was much better. Sunil had arranged for Boodhoo to be our server, and he did a great job. For my meal, I had the crispy squid, black truffle arancini, lamb chops scottaditto, and the classic tiramisu. Steven had the posh fries and the baked lasagna. We also shared the ultimate garlic bread, the funky fries, crispy polenta chips, and their famous meat plank. The one part of the meal that I really enjoyed was the crispy squid. I could have ate another plate of it as good as it was. The rest of the food just wasn't our cup of tea, but I've heard other people say they enjoyed it, so don't let our review stop anyone from trying it as everyone's tastes are different. After dinner, we met Sunil at Studio B for our ice skating session. Sessions were 20 minutes long, and I'm not sure what the limit was but when we were skating, there was the 6 of us plus around 6 to 8 other people. When ice skating, you have to wear a helmet, and they do have knee and elbow pads available but they are not required. This was the kid's first time ice skating, and we spent the entire time helping the babies, so we had Sunil schedule us again for 8:30pm. Sophia wanted to go to Adventure Ocean, so when we went back, it was just Steven, Christian, and me. This time there was probably less than 10 people including us total. On the way to Studio B, we noticed the new Pinnacle Club Lounge, and for those who are wondering, it is at Jazz on 4 (from 5pm-8pm) which is near the Diamond Club. When we returned to the room, we decided we'd order room service. We ordered steak quesadillas, hot chicken wings, and cheesecake. Again, it was delicious. In fact, this steak quesadilla may have even been better than the one the other day and I thought that one was great. Jaime's Italian: New Pinnacle Club Lounge (from 5pm-8pm): Second towel animal of the cruise:
  16. They won't let the kids off the ship since we don't have an excursion booked, but they would have loved that.
  17. I agree. Even if we weren't Star Class, I would be offended if someone asked me to give up my seats for someone who barely made it to the show in time. The people in the front rows are either ones who paid for the perk (Star Class or suites), earned it through being a loyal member (like Pinnacles getting to arrive at the theater earlier than most guests), or those who got to the theater early enough to get a good seat and then waited for the show. Like you said, there was plenty of other empty seats, but some people just have some nerve.
  18. It was very nice meeting you. We've only met two people from RCB so far: you and @AshleyDillo. It is so neat reading someone's blog, and then running into them onboard.
  19. Day 4: Today was the first port stop (St. Maarten), and Steven and I intended to go to Maho Beach. Steven did his morning run around the track, and then I went to the gym where I noticed some of the crew were doing safety drills in the gym. After the gym, I headed back to the cabin for breakfast. Again, they had set it up with a tablecloth. I went with a healthier breakfast this morning and was enjoying my hummus and celery and fruit, when it started raining and the wind picked up. The next thing you know our plates started flying off the table. We gathered up everything as quickly as we could and brought it inside. With the weather as bad as it was, we ruled out Maho Beach. We called Sunil and asked for recommendations of things to do on the ship with the kids since the weather was so bad. The only thing open that would interest them was Adventure Ocean and they were asking to go, so we got ready to leave. Before we could leave, Sunil showed up to the room with a ship-wide scavenger hunt to entertain the kids. They were already set on Adventure Ocean, so we headed there, but we plan on doing the scavenger hunt if we have time. By the time we dropped them off, it had stopped raining so we decided to head to Maho Beach after all. We got to the taxi, and the guy talked us out of going. He said it was slower than usual and he recommended going a different day. We were ok with this since we go back in November. Later, we found out the real reason was most of the taxi drivers didn't want to go to Maho after the bad weather because they didn't want to get stuck. We took a taxi from port to downtown. We made the mistake of asking to go somewhere downtown that was where the locals shop and eat. Next time, we'll stick to the touristy area, as what we saw was not what we expected from an island paradise. Then, we got lost and wandered around until we eventually found the touristy area. We did a little shopping, stopped for ice cream and ham croque monsieur, and then visited the yoda guy museum. The price for the museum is $15 per person. If you buy something or go through the museum he will take a picture with you otherwise you are out of lucky. We decided we'd walk back to the ship instead of taking a taxi. It was longer than it looked but not too bad, and we passed a cheese shop on the way, so we stopped and got some goat cheese for Sunil. I asked on the Star Class facebook page before the trip for gift recommendations for Sunil, and someone mentioned that he liked goat cheese. Turns out they were right. He was super excited when we gave it to him. He has been great, and we were very happy to get something for him as much as he has done to make our trip special. Getting back on board was a breeze, there wasn't any crowds and you have to quickly pull down your mask when they scan your seapass card when getting back on the ship, so they can match the picture they have of you with your face. While in St. Maartin, you have to wear a mask when entering stores or using public transportation but not outside. Breakfast: Grandeur was beside us: Some of what we saw where we got dropped off (definitely not what we were expecting): A different view of the island: Ham Croque Monsieur from Happy Days Cafe in St. Maartin: Yoda guy museum: Steven and me:
  20. Day 3 continued: We had plans to go ice skating, but with the inclement weather they switched the days of the ice skating show and the aquatheater show. Since the ice skating show was now going to be on Day 3, open ice skating was moved to day 4. The ice skating show was at 8pm for vaccinated only and then 10pm for everyone. This made 0 sense to me why you would have the only show that kids could attend so late, but I don't make the rules. We took the kids to play on the lucky climber, to ride the carousel, and to play on the piano stairs. At this point, Christian and Sophia told us they wanted to go to Adventure Ocean instead of with us to watch 1977 (ice skating show). We dropped them off at Adventure Ocean, and Steven, Kat, Nyssa, and I all headed to Studio B for the show. Sunil was there waiting for us with reserved banners on our seats. Again, the first open row was the third row to allow social distancing between the cast and audience. We asked Sunil for a blanket for Kat and Nyssa, and he headed off to get one. About 10 minutes later, some people showed up and tried to join their party who were also sitting in the third row. This was a party of people that was so large they would have taken the entire row. The ones that showed up five minutes before the show went and told one of the crew members that she wanted to sit with her party. The next thing we know that crew member came up to us and told us she might need our seats. Steven and I looked at her like she was crazy and told her no that our genie saved us these seats. She looked confused and walked off. I'm guessing it was another crew member not knowing what Star Class is, but Sunil was flabbergasted when he returned with the blankets and we told him what happened. My guess is he will be educating them in what Star Class is. We really appreciated the blankets as Nyssa and Kat fell asleep within 10 minutes. The ice skating show was great. The cast did an amazing job and we really liked the music that was used in the show. After it ended, we picked up the kids from Adventure Ocean and called it a night. Lucky Climber: The banners show the seats that you can't sit in to allow for social distancing plus you have to put two seats between parties: 1977:
  21. Day 3 continued: After picking up the kids, we made another Starbucks stop and the kids were hungry, so we called Sunil and asked him if we could go on and head to Hooked Seafood. Our reservation was at 5:30pm and it was 5pm. We didn't realize that it didn't open until 5:30pm, but Sunil still called the restaurant and they got us in early. This definitely made us feel "Star Classy." When we arrived all of the staff were absolutely wonderful and friendly. Sunil had arranged for Osden to be our server and he did a great job. While checking in on us, Sunil said he always tells the restaurant manager who he wants serving us, and so far, everybody he has picked has been phenomenal. As I said earlier in the blog, we weren't even planning on eating Hooked initially for dinner, but I'm so glad we did. The food was way better than we expected, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes seafood. Despite our last minute plan to go early, the waiter still brought out pizza, macaroni and cheese, and fries to occupy the kids as soon as we arrived. Sunil has done a great job making sure this is arranged at every restaurant. Osden told us not to worry about appetizers that he was bringing us one of each to try. I tried the Maryland Crab Cake, and it was delicious. I got Sophia to try a bite, and she ended up ordering one of her own after trying a bite. I also got the clam and crab chowder, and it was pretty good but I'd probably skip it and get two crab cakes next time instead or opt for something different. For my main course, I had the whole Maine lobster, which was a lobster tail that was stuffed with crab and topped with Gruyere cheese and then baked. It was very tasty, and I will order it again next time I go to Hooked. Steven does not like seafood, which is one reason we had planned on skipping Hooked for dinner but even he enjoyed it and wants to go back next time we are on a ship with Hooked (it's on Symphony and Navigator only). For his meal, he had the fresh hand-tossed salad with grilled chicken and a messy fish sandwich without cole slaw, so in other words a fish sandwich (but it still came with the bib). We shared a coconut cream pie and the kids had chocolate decadence brownies. We were very full by the time we got dessert and only planned on having a bite of it, but like the rest of the meal it was so good that despite being full we made extra room and finished it too. Hooked Seafood:
  22. Sunil booked our hours before we got on the ship. They are only allowing 15 kids in Adventure Ocean and 4 in Royal Babies and Tots at a time on Symphony. I thought this would be an issue, but I've yet to see all the slots full. The most kids I've seen at a time in Adventure Ocean was 12, and that was including our two. Most of the time there have been fewer than 10 kids at a time. To be on the safe side, I would recommend booking hours as soon as you board. We haven't had any issues getting hours at all, but if Adventure Ocean was full it would be a different story. Each sailing is going to differ with how many kids are on board and how much people utilize Adventure Ocean so I would always try to book the prime hours like showtimes as soon as possible. Thank you very much!
  23. Day 3 continued: After breakfast, Christian and I each rode the Flowrider once. For Star Class, you get priority access and they rotate out three people in line, one Star Class, three people, one Star Class, etc. It wasn't really worth using priority at the Flowrider since there was only four people in line, but still they knew we were Star Class and told us to sit on the bleachers and they'd call us in. Since there was so few people, they ended up doing two people in line, Christian, one person, me, then the other people who were now in line. When Steven and I did Flowrider on Allure, the floor was much harder. On Symphony it felt almost padded and didn't hurt at all when wiping out. When I finished my turn, they told us that we could sit back down on the bleachers, and they would keep rotating us in. We thanked them but now it was Sophia, Kat, and Nyssa's turn to have fun, so we headed to Splashaway Bay. Just like the Flowrider, it was not busy at all. We were the only ones in the swim diaper area, but they had most of the water activities turned off here as they said the wind was blowing the water on the deck chairs. Nyssa opted to go to the bigger kid area of Splashaway Bay since all of their water activities were still on. She really wanted to ride the waterslides here, but she is below the 42 inch height requirement. They do have a very small slide here, so she played on that instead. Kat was happy sliding on the little slide in the swim diaper play area even without the water on. As time went by, another toddler showed up to play in the swim diaper area, and the bigger kid section started to get busier than before. Christian and Sophia didn't want to wait in line for the slides in Splashaway Bay anymore after a few slides, so we headed to the pool. We stopped and got a drink on the way, and I tried the Goombay Smash, which was pretty good, but I wish I would have got my mango lava flow instead. There was a five person limit in the pool, so I almost wondered if we would even be able to get in, but we got there and there was only two people in the pool. About this time, the Captain came on to announce that we were approaching a storm, so those two people got out. We figured, we'd swim for a few minutes before the weather got bad. Christian got in and had the entire pool to himself. Kat and I watched from the side, and Steven, Nyssa, and Sophia went in search of life jackets. As soon as Steven, Nyssa, and Sophia were ready to get in, it started raining really hard, thundering, and lightning, and everyone on the pool deck scattered. Flowrider: Splashaway Bay: Goombay Smash: Christian had the pool to himself:
  24. Thank you! We walked past Playmakers yesterday and saw him in passing, and he still seemed grumpy and unhappy to be there which is a totally different mood than most of the crew on the ship.
  25. Day 3: After Steven got back from his morning run around the track, I figured I should hit the gym after all the food I have been eating. The gym was very nice, and I plan on going back tomorrow. While working out, you do not have to wear a mask. After working out, I figured I would try a smoothie from Vitality Spa. When I told the lady what smoothie Steven wanted, she said they didn't have that on this ship, so the menu can differ from ship to ship or maybe they re-did it during the shut-down. Instead I told her that we wanted a berry banana smoothie and a strawberry banana smoothie and I got one of each parfait to try. We were not a fan of anything we got there. The smoothies from Vitality Spa are included with Star Class, but when she asked for my seapass, I gave it to her and she asked if I had the drink package. I told her I was Star Class, and she looked confused. I'm starting to notice several crew members who have no idea what Star Class is which is totally different than before. I do believe most of the ones who don't know are new crew members on their first contract. As I was walking down the hall to our room. Sunil was actually walking down the hall away from our room since he stopped by and checked on us while I was at the gym. He saw me with my hands full and rushed to help. He told me I should have called and he could have had them delivered. I told him it was fine that I was there already. He said next time to call him even if I'm there and he will have someone deliver them for me or will personally get them himself. Breakfast was waiting when I arrived back in my cabin. To my surprise, the food was set out and there was a tablecloth this time. I really am starting to wonder if someone at Royal is reading my blog haha. Also, waiting for me was my Starbucks latte. The food was hot again and very good. I had asked Sunil for hummus and something to dip in it like celery or pitas. I wasn't sure that this would come since neither celery nor pitas are on the breakfast menu, but I was happy to see hummus with celery and pitas. Anything I have asked for since being on the ship, Sunil has made happen. For anyone who is planning to sail Star Class, don't expect your genie to read your mind, if you want something ask for it.
