  1. Thank you guys very much for the details and pictures. We really appreciate your time and effort with excellent feedback.
  2. For us, any Carnival ship out of Sydney Australia. The food and service was overall very poor. The lack of security with kids running and screaming down the hallways very late at night; past 2am most nights and having quite a number of guests packing a months worth of alcohol into a seven day cruise. I like a drink, so it is not really the drinking, or even excessive alcohol, but more the type of people who sailed who had little or no respect for fellow passengers, and you felt on edge that if you say the wrong thing or accidentally bump into someone, you could end up being assaulted. Having done a Royal cruise previously set the bar and our Carnival sailing was polar opposite. Carnival was cheaper but for us not as enjoyable as a Royal cruise and so worth the slight cost variance.
  3. Hello Matt, I am having difficulty to uploading an image for my profile and the kids have abandoned me. I have tried to compress it the it is under the limit, but still no luck. Also I cans some uses have future and previous cruises listed. How do you add this or a quote to your profile? Appreciate your guidance.
  4. Hello RCB community, We have now booked some cruises in early 2022 leaving from the Port of Miami and would like some suggestions on where we should stay? We will be flying in from Australia so expect to come in through MIA, and this will be our first time to Miami. We would like a few days in advance to get over the jet lag and also experience the beaches, food and culture of Miami. We are doing a B2B on the Symphony starting 29th Jan '22 and then we have a night in-between before we board the Radiance (our favourite class of ship to unwind) for another B2B, with one port being Key West. Well let's see if that port stop is really going to happen after the local's voted the way they did? Anyway I digress. I have read the Intercontinental, Bay View room is the hotel to stay close to the port and see the ships; is this correct? Is this hotel walking distance to restaurants, beaches and alike or should be looking at staying somewhere else? If the Intercontinental is only good for it's proximity to the port then we can stay there the one night in-between cruises, and open to another more suitable hotel for a first time to Florida tourist.
  5. Thanks to all for the feedback about the GS, as this will be our first Oasis and limited opportunity to sail this class, we want to take full advantage of the perks. It is an expensive bed to sleep for a few hours a day, but the access to skip queues, and reserved seating is a benefit. It is disappointing that D+ no longer has access to the lounge. I have sailed on the Explore and Voyager prior and lounge access was great and in those ships the Diamond lounge was in a great location and it was really disappointing when boarding the amplified Voyager last year, and discovered the area is now a Suite lounge, Concierge lounged closed down and no access to D+. To make matters worse the new Diamond lounge was really small and on one cruise the overflow area was taken up by functions for a charter. I love the three free drinks we can have anywhere but the lounge was a fantastic area to make new friends, socialise and share each others stories of the how great a day others had.
  6. Hello Guys, This will be our first cruise on an Oasis class ship and we want to make the most of the new entertainemn and offerings on the ship. We are from Australia so sailing on an Oasis class is something we don't get down under. We are Diamond Plus, so I think we would have access to the Consierge lounge and some priority for seats at the shows? We are seeking incite from the community as to whether we should pay the difference from a JS to a GS, which is about $1,000 more? We are normally happy with a balcony and even an inside cabin but thought by going up to a suite we can do more with ease. We are planing on doing a B2B so western and eastern, and so I believe in Labadee there is a special area which only GS and above guests can enter. Appreciate your thoughts on the subject
