NEW VLOG IS LIVE! Today I talk about the process of getting transferred to another ship, during the middle of a contract.

We have a no-limit cash game, every night from 7pm! $100 buy-in. $2/$5 starting blinds.

It's funny, because right now, I look forward to the day I am a guest onboard - and not a crew member.

We have a jobs posting board in our crew areas of all the new positions onboard. We essentially get to see new jobs before anyone else. Of course, it comes down to ourselves to seek out career opportunities.

My first contract was back in 2013, on Independence Of The Seas, working in the shops.

Well if for some reason I really didn't want to be transferred, I can always ask to go home. But nobody wants to be unemployed.

I'm actually transferring to Oasis in 2 weeks, so unfortunately we won't get the chance to meet.

My contract is set to finish in March. I'm not sure what my plans are yet after. Chances are I'll be assigned a different ship by September.

It's actually very common to be transferred during a contract. This is usually due to promotions or buisness needs. Sometimes you will be notified ahead of time, sometimes you may get asked to be transferred immediately. The thing is, we don't get a choice as to whether we can stay or go. Once we get told we are to be transferred, we have to go.
