  1. We have used Old Town in Key West and it worked great!
  2. Thanks for all the great information. Yes we are on Allure of the Seas in July celebrating my oldest sons HS graduation b4 college. Excited & nervous! So for clarification they will not stock the fridge with non alcoholic beverages but we can grab them and bring them back to our cabin from the suites lounge. I don’t think we drink enough alcohol to get that package but would you recommend the non alcohol drink package? Also we chose (I ?) the OS on deck 10 over the CL on deck 17. Used to being on a much smaller ship. I just loved the lay out of the OS with table for 4 inside and on the balcony. I know (at least on sea days we will order room service for b fast if not every day & the space looks so much more comfortable to my family needs & w 2 boys we can still get away w one bathroom. I hope we have not underestimated the size of the ship. We are very laid back family and do not feel like we have to do everything, see everything. Thanks again, u have all been great?
  3. Thank you for the info regarding the disembarkation. Great to know about the luggage valet. I have been doing my research But still have a few questions. The first one seems silly but this is our first cruise not DCL since we had children. When u first get on the ship and cabin is not ready do you go to the suite lounge? It does not appear as though the conceigre meet with you like on DCL ( if u r staying conceigre). & what do most people do for sail away? Pool deck? Also does anybody know if they will prestock your room fridge with soda and waters? If they are free of charge in the suites lounge I am assuming u can take some for your cabin. Thanks in advance. I am am finding RCCL a little difficult to research.?
  4. If you are in a suite (OS sky class) do you have to leave your luggage out the night before? Do you then head to the suite lounge for disembarkation? Last, what are our options for breakfast that day?
  5. Hi all, Help! I have not sailed RCCL in 18 years, our most recent cruises have been DCL. We have decided to take an RCCL cruise this summer for my oldest sons graduation from high school. It will be myself, husband and two sons 16 & 18. I have been doing research and watching videos etc but still cannot decide which size ship. They both seem huge! We are thinking Liberty out of Galveston, Freedom out of San Juan (I do like both of their itineraries, one goes to Grand Cayman and the other is Southern Caribbean with some ports my husband and I love (we cruised a lot b4 kids) or an Oasis class ship out of Florida ( most convenient to leave from) We are planning on doing a suite if that makes a difference in opinions. Really like the lay out and size of owners suite on Liberty. My boys don’t want to sleep together which seems to be a possible issue on some cabin choices even if they sleep four, not sure of configurations when beds are down and if roll aways are an option. So basically looking to relax with family b4 son goes to college, he has stated he doesn’t want the trip to be port heavy, wants to relax and enjoy ship. My hubby and I are in our young fifties, we like good food, good wine, sun & people watching, I particularly like to be pampered lol, we enjoy live music, laughing, late nights in hot tub, late night snacks & are really up for most anything. I need to pick a ship, a cabin category and quick b4 it’s too late, not a fan of waiting for things or being in large crowds. Will these ships be too big & crowded.... that’s my fear! Second fear is actually being able to locate all these great activities I’m hearing about! any advice, suggestions for first timer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance?
