We have been looking at this cruise and was wondering if anyone has done it. If you have did you do the 3 day shore excursion to Machu Picchu and if so what did you think of it?

Thank you. I was reading she looked a little worn so this will be welcomed.

I just read on facebook Crown and Anchor Society that someone was told by the crew that Brilliance of the Seas was scheduled for refurbishment in April 2018. There is a 10 day window after its transatlantic cruise from 20 April to 1 May where no cruise is scheduled. Does anyone know what a 10 day refurbishment entails? We will be on her in mid May.

We did this last year for our group of 8. We used the hotel shuttle to get from MCO to the hotel (Hampton Inn and Suites @ Gateway Village in Orlando) then we used Star Trans VIP to shuttle us to Port Canaveral and after the cruise we did a shore excursion/airport shuttle back to MCO. It all went like clockwork. Enjoy your first cruise, you will love it.

I finally found my answer. My RCCL rep was able to find out. RCCL has a 10% discount if you book your next cruise shore excursions onboard your current cruise.

A couple of years ago we booked our next cruise shore excursions while we were on a cruise. They were offering a 15% discount. Does anyone know if they are still offering this?

I start watching 12 months in advance. When I see it go on sale then I grab it. We try to fly business so I grab the first sale that comes along. I booked last August for our trip this coming May and am very happy I did because business class is sold out. We got our flights for about $2700/person from DFW nonstop to Amsterdam and the premium economy was about 1600/person with economy at about 1300/person at that time.
