Thanks, Matt, I didn't wish to make too much of an issue of cost to RCCL, However, I've noticed that some nights, a number of people do not come for dinner for a variety of reasons. Therefore, wait staff in traditional dining have a rather less busy work day. Regardless, we have made some wonderful friends among those who served us. There are advantages to getting to know those waiters, and others who work in the dining room. The larger issue was typified last year on the Allure. My daughter and I spend many trips to the desk, head waiter and lots of emails trying to get adjacent tables. after 3 days we did get them.
