Hurricane Sandy impacts two more Royal Caribbean cruises

Hurricane Sandy has affected two more Royal Caribbean ships. Monarch of the Seas had previously announced it would go to Freeport, Bahamas instead of Nassau, Bahamas but now due to rough weather, that is unlikely. Instead Monarch of the Seas will spend its cruise exclusively at sea. Jewel of the Seas will also likely be affected by the storm. Given Hurricane Sandy's current location and projected path, it is likely that Jewel of the Seas' itinerary will be impacted. Royal Caribbean will continue to monitor the storm and provide guests sailing on Jewel of the Seas this Sunday, October 28, with additional information on their itinerary once the board the ship tomorrow.
