alicecoggins10
We are looking at a couple of different shore excursions that have weight limits. My husband doesn't meet the weight restrictions for these. Does anyone know how particular they are about the weight restrictions? Also there is one excursion (the aquatic mini sub) that says people with mobility issues should not do it. Has anyone been on that to know how easy/difficult it is getting on and off? DocLC
It depends on the excursion, but weight limits are usually imposed for safety reasons. If it's a bus tour or something similar, then it might be for comfort or size limitations of the transportation; you'd have to inquire with the shore excursion staff to be sure. I have seen some weight limitations and minimums on excursions where they made no sense. For the mini sub, you'll need to climb either short steps or a short ladder and this is why there's a mobility limitation.
