We'd love to experience one of the horseback riding beach excursions there - our biggest priority, however, is finding one that operates ethically with respect to how the horses are treated. I've been looking through reviews of various companies that offer this excursion, and have unfortunately found that even some of them with high ratings have recent reviews (post-2020) that reference poor treatment of the horses. Some of these reviewers had used these companies prior to COVID, and said that at that time, the horses were well taken care of. But after using them for a second time recently, they noted that the horses were malnourished and not in a good way at all - potentially due to neglect during the height of COVID.
