Help Former Cruise Musician Chuck Jacks with Major Health Recovery

Recommended Posts

Hi, my brother Chuck Jacks was a trombonist with Royal Caribbean cruise lines some years ago. He absolutely loved working there and traveling the world while meeting amazing new people.  He worked with the jazz bands, big bands, played small intimate gigs in the lounges and also played in the big shows on the stage.  He's told me numerous times how much he's cherished the friendships he's made the experiences he's had.  I once had the luxury of joining him on a cruise to Alaska and it was great to see Chuck really enjoying his life out there!  He's since become a beloved private music instructor in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, USA.

Chuck's recently fallen very ill and has been in the hospital for the past month for a diabetic related illness. The medical debt from his hospital stay is going to be extremely overwhelming as well as his upcoming weekly medical treatments to get dialysis 3-4x a week.

How can you help? We've been reaching out to all of the great people he's come across and asking that they consider donating to our GoFundMe campaign that we've set up.  We've raised over $11,000 so far and our goal is to reach $20,000.  I know we can do it, but we need Chuck's cruise family to spread this out to reach even more great people!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this and learn more about my awesome trombone playing brother Chuck!
