Over a year ago, I signed up with a TA to book a group tour with my parish on an Alaskan cruise to look at the different missionary efforts. A parishioner recommended a travel agent, and we started the process. We are leaving mid-June, and last week I found out that we are not all dining together. When I call royal, they can't help other than to say that they always sit in groups together! I have contacted the agent and the owner and said this is unacceptable and would like to be on the phone with them and hear what Royal is saying, because what I am being told is that groups are kept together. I am at a loss. A family of 4 is on this trip specifically because I am leading it, and they are not at the same dining time. Only half are at the early dining. Does anyone have any ideas? This is my first group and my last trip with this agent and I have some questions of you all that have been very helpful in the past. At the very least, I have to help this one family of 4. This has been planned for over a year. There are 44 of us, and they will not even confirm how much of a comp that I will receive. Questions, 1. Does my status as Diamond (priority waitlist) help my group? (I am guessing no, but grasping at straws.) 2. Is there a contact at Royal for issues with Travel Agents? (I understand that I picked her and am responsible for that) 3. I got the key, so I will be in MDR for lunch first day, I will find head waiter. Is there anyone else? 4. As a last resort would they reserve tables in Windjammer? This is my first group cruise, but when I do other trips, having a group of 44 carries some weight, and we usually get what we need, especially since we started so far out. We have over 20 cabins. I really don't want to start this trip with half the people angry. Thanks in advance, I truly hope I am missing a solution!

Hello everyone ?. I lead the Facebook group for the Anthem of the Seas, departing August 29th. Members of the group would like a meetup just for us group members, separate from the cruise critic meet and mingle. Is there a way we can officially reserve a space on the ship just for us? If so, how? One of the members says she has attended private events on Royal ships before, and says Royal even provided snacks and beverages. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know how it was arranged. Ok everyone thanks, I appreciate your help and insights!

What does RCCL consider to be a big enough Group for a Group booking discount. We have 9 Balcony cabins with 21 Adult Family Guests booked for sailing on Ovation of the Seas 30th December 2016. I have been advised by the Travel Agent that we are not eligible for any discount or benefit? Would this be based on the fare paid?

Hi! I'm sailing with Enchantment of the Seas in March with a group of 72 other people. I organized the group, have everyone paid and ready to go and was just told i get a $1020 credit. I need suggestions on what to do with my credit. I was thinking upgrading my room, but I don't know how simple that is. Also purchasing myself a drink package...but I also want to be fair to the rest of the group. Suggestions?? Cheers!
