  1. hello! Has any one else booked the St. Maarten Beach Rendezvous? We are on Harmony of the Seas in a month ?, and would like to enjoy the beach that day. I've read a report that the beach was overgrown with seaweed and Dog poop, but im wondering if this review was just an isolated incident?? Any insight would be appreciated!
  2. Thought this topic would be good for finding out things about the places we all visit and some of the hidden gems you've all found. One thing we found on a Caribbean Cruise a good few years ago was a hidden Hard Rock Cafe on our favourite Island of St Thomas. From what I can remember you head into town and belive it or not down a narrow alley an up some dodgy stairs and up the top you will see a smallish door with Hard Rock above it. When we went in it opened up into a large ish restaurant and for me the jewel in the Crown was there was an outside terrace with amazing views of St Thomas. I know this was a long while ago and things change but if it is still there it's well worth a visit for some lunch or Cocktails.
  3. We are trying to find out where to go to enjoy some sun and kayaking during our shore excursions. We don't want a snorkeling or hiking combination, just a nice beach where our child can safely go kayaking. We stop in Nassau, Bahamas, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Philipsburg, St. Maarten.
  4. Good afternoon fellow cruisers :) , My hubby and I are going on the Oasis of the Seas for B2B cruises Western Caribbean then Eastern Caribbean. I like to have an idea what to do in the different ports so I thought I would reach out to many of you who have been on these cruses :) Favorite thing to do is go to a nice beach and relax and have cold Corona's :) Maybe get a massage, lie in a hammock and maybe get a bite to eat. Any recommendations ? West 1) Labadee Haiti? 2) Falmouth, Jamaica 3) Cozumel East 1) Nassau, Bahamas 2) St Thomas 3) St Maarten Thank you in advance, Jill Happy Cruising
