Where specifically did you see the salmon run at? Was this at the totem pole national historic site one the trail? I believe I have seen this mentioned as a good viewing spot on one of the trails there?

Hi! Sailing for our 10th anniversary. Hubs first cruise and my 3rd. First time to Alaska for both of us....and my first time on Royal since 2007! Been listening to all the podcast/blogs etc We have excursions booked for the main ports- except Victoria since we are getting in so late there. Hoping to fit in some self guided walks/mini hikes in between excursions and open to recommendations! Sitka- Kayaking Skagway- White Pass Railroad Junaeu- Mendenhall Glacier Helicoptor/Dog Sled (maybe the tram depending on weather) Victoria- ? Was thinking about the Whale Watching trip, but I just don't see how that would fit in with the port schedule/sunset time?
