  1. I tried replying here earlier (just created this account). Not sure if it is going through but I typed up a long response regarding a recent personal example in which I have dealt with this issue. If my other response didn't go through, moderator please send this one through -- long story short Katie is that you need to call Club Royale line ASAP and clarify with them if the GTY room they have in the system is what you are expecting it to be (the cabin that you upgraded to). There is a high chance that it is incorrect in their system and is still showing the initial cabin type (which sounds like was an interior room). There will be nothing you can do once the trip arrives if this is the case. But if you call ahead and get it sorted out they will either make the correct change in the system so that you get the correct stateroom, or either refund you the upgrade or complimentarily upgrade you beyond the initial upgrade (luckily they record all of the conversations and are good about going back and listening to them when needed).
