Icon of the Seas / Miami Ok good to hear it's common. A bit concerning. 1st RC cruise, so appreciate the responses.

Checkin update for those interested: App was showing a checkin date of Apr 16th never opened up last night and now shows "Check-in closed - Check in at the port at least 90 minutes before departure or you may be denied boarding." Browser shows checkin Apr 17th which would be 10pm tonight for me. This is a bit worrisome but hopefully will be able to checkin tonight through browser worst case scenario. Was hoping to use the App to designate port arrival time and enter other items later.

Finally at the checkin point for our cruise and I see some changes to the App including password-related issues. I can login no problem after changing my password. The question is - has the checkin process changed on the App? I would like to checkin to reserve a port arrival time and finish the rest later. Is that option still available on the app or do I have to complete all the information now? If it is still an option, can someone point me to the steps to checkin, reserve time, and bypass the rest. Thank you for any guidance.

Thank you for the reply. We indeed made the switch to a traditional Ocean View Balcony on Deck 8 and are happy with the decision. I appreciate your comment on the quietness of Central Park. I thought I read that specialty coffees are included in the deluxe and refreshment beverage packages, but could be wrong. I understand the Starbucks location costs extra. I need to do some more research as 1st sailing on RC. Thank you again for the reply.

We will be sailing on our 1st RC cruise on Icon in June and are hoping to get some guidance. We are booked in a spacious infinite cabin and have some concerns after watching videos and reading reviews. We are thinking of switching to a standard balcony room, but deck 8 is only available. Can you hear noise from Central Park in your cabin? We are specifically looking at a cabin directly behind Park Cafe. We would really like to switch, but concerned about noise. Does Social 020 have a meet and greet at the beginning of the cruise? Our daughter has the refreshment package. Does she sign for drinks (coffee, fresh juice, etc) or just show her card? We are curious if she can sign and leave a tip or if we should bring some $1s for tips. I suspect I'll be the coffee runner in the morning. Can I order 3 coffees by myself using our cards (2x Deluxe pkg & 1x refreshment pkg) at Pearl Cafe or does everyone have to be present? Are Ubers available post-cruise from Miami port to Ft Lauderdale airport? And if so, is it best to book in advance or will they be readily available? Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Hello - new to RC and have an upcoming cruise on Icon in June. I have been monitoring the price of my cruise and called a couple times to lower the balance as the price has gone down. I have now reached a point where the balance is $0 and final payment is not due for a couple months. Question: If the price continues to go down should I still call for OBC or a refund to credit card or am I locked into my initial price? Meaning if the price goes down another $200, do I get an OBC or refund? Obviously can't cancel and rebook because of the steep deposit forfeit. Also, what about after final payment due date. Any difference? Thank you for any guidance.
