Oh your so right, I did. I thought it had to be 6 months already existing. So it doesn't matter how new it is so long as its not close to expiring?

1Q Hi all any info would be appreciated. Family and I booked a cruise from NJ to Bahamas and back. However upon looking at the passport one was expiring very shortly. We we're able to get it renewed and returned quickly, It would not be valid for full 6 months prior to boarding. Will this cause any issues? Do we need to bring driver license and birth certificate as back up? 2Q We are newly married and my partner is going through the last name change which will be different then what her passport says. With not enough time to get new passport does she need to bring any other documents to validate who she is with her current (old last name) passport? Marriage license? Birth Certificate? Thanks
