Hi, We will be taking our first cruise in Dec. Of 24 to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. Our party will include me (40s), her (69/70), and my son (3). We will be in a junior suite on Harmony of the seas. We will be going to Roatan, Cozumel, and Costa Maya. I would love guidance on these questions. 1. What is your favorite speciality restaurant for a birthday meal? We are not super adventurous eaters. 2. What is your favorite breakfast/lunch spot? 3. What are your favorite non-water excursions for the 3 ports? 4. What are your Favorite items to pack to make our week easier? 5. What is your must dos/advice for first time cruisers?

My son and I will be going on our first cruise in March of 2024 (during spring break week). He will have just turned 3 (by 3 weeks). All help is appreciated. Do they have kid friendly sized dishes in areas like the windjammer? What excursions would be fun for a 3 year old in Costa Maya and Cozumel? He loves animals. We are going to the Daniel Johnson sloth and monkey farm in Roatan. Should I take his stroller/car seat on excursions? Looking at some of the excursions, it shows children under a certain age are free. Then it says infants must sit in lap. My son will be 3, (and free), Would he need to sit in my lap being transported? What activities like slides, mini golf, zip lining, etc would be suitable for a 3 year old if any? In the souvenir shop, about how much do Christmas ornament/stuffed animal cost? About how many crew members will we interact with during our cruise? I want to bring thank you cards for them. Does harmony still have an escape room? If so, can you reserve it online? Are cruise compasses consistent as far as activities offered? For example if I look at a cruise compass for March 2023, would it be similar for March 2024 same ship. Can he attend some of the shows with me? Im thinking the water shows, the magic show, and the ice skating shows.

I work in education so my time off is restricted to school breaks and the summer. I am trying to determine when the best time for a cruise would be. It would be my 3 year old son and myself. I would be leaving out of Galveston. The ports would be Roaton, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. My choices are mid March, the first week of July, the week of Thanksgiving or the week of Christmas.
