When I was on Wonder of the Seas end of Jan 23, I was offered comps. They said you have to pass a certain threshold of points on the ship to be eligible for the comps. I was able to choose to take the comps in free play and/or apply them toward purchases on the ship (not including taxes/fees/gratuities/next cruise). I chose to book an excursion because I hadn't bought anything on the ship. Problem is, excursion was cancelled due to weather and I ended up letting my kids pick stuff out in the gift shops, using the comps to cover that, and then taking the rest in free play. To be clear, this is not the same free play you earn as you rack up points (where you can turn 500 points into $10 free play at the machine). If we went to a specialty restaurant, I could have used the comps for that as well. The difference is you are essentially covering the cost by putting on your stateroom and the casino host will reimburse your account for the amount. While I did earn Signature on that cruise, I was already Prime and was offered comps before I hit signature.

Hello, does anyone know what the discounts are for diamond and signature in club royale? Are they combinable? I have tried to book before (when I wasn't yet diamond) and offered a decent discount for an extra cabin for friends/family but it was never stated what that discount was, though it was through the casino comp program when I was still prime & emerald (the deal was a balcony for 2 for ~$2200 after taxes on Wonder of the Seas when the advertised rate we were seeing was ~$2100/person for an Oceanview). I've hit my diamond and signature levels since then and I don't have much time to call during open hours to go back and forth to find something more affordable for the family (I plan to use a comp for me and my grandma and need two extra rooms to add 6-8 people!) And I haven't been able to find anything that states what the discounts are for diamond or signature members. Does it just vary? Can I double up the discounts?
