  1. We took Enchantment on it's Trans-Atlantic cruise this past April 31st from NYC to Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. NYC had thunderstorms the day before we boarded and the Ocean was not kind to most on board the first 2 days. The water was up to our stateroom window (4th deck - forward). The rest of the time it was great. Hopefully you get Vincent in the main dining room.... great guy and awesome waiter.... tell him Brad & Dawn say Hello.
  2. My wife and I did the Trans-Atlantic trip from New York to Rome this past May for 15 days. Looking forward to this Panama Canal passage.
  3. Italia rail fastest way to Rome with no traffic or driver drama ($6 - 12 USD) - https://shop.italiarail.com/results?departureStationId=830008010&arrivalStationId=830008409&departureDate=2023-05-15&adults=1&children=0&currency=USD&roundTrip=one_way&utm_term=italiarail&utm_campaign=Brand-USA&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&selectedFilters=1
  4. I currently use the website and log in on a PC. FYI "Venice" is actually the Royal Caribbean new cruise terminal at Porto Corsini near Ravenna, IT (nowhere near Venice). Kotor and Kotor Bay is the shore excursion for Montenegro. Early in the morning you will enter the most southern Fjord in Europe and alot to see from the ship before docking or taking launches to Kotor (get up and have breakfast early then get on deck for views) Look on Google Maps... https://www.google.com/maps/place/Kotor,+Montenegro/@42.4243077,18.7661987,1143m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x134c33063d70c91b:0x7a73f15e212e9306!8m2!3d42.424662!4d18.771234!16zL20vMDFwam4w Because it is a small historical city center no long distant excursions are necessary (you are only spending 6 hours here). Just Google top 10 things to do in Kotor. You can see the boat style excursions, hiking to old fortress, etc. Also look on YouTube of what adventure travelers are doing in Kotor.
  5. In the last few months I have looked extensively for return flights from London, Paris, Dublin, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Lisbon and others. I use Skyscanner, Google flights and Priceline and am a member getting emails from FareDrop. I would use Skyscanner to have a departing airport and "Everywhere" as a destination(or visa/versa) and select the month of travel to show all rates in that month. This shows many routes you might not think of to get to LA. Norse Atlantic Airways through Iceland or Canada has some low rates. Just last week I ended up booking a flight from Heathrow, UK to Boston Logan (3 hr layover-enough time to go through customs and take a walk), then flight to Phoenix (where we live) on American Airlines for $459pp. One more thing: Flights within Europe are super cheap. I am also flying from Croatia to Paris for $39pp. I also forgot to mension "French Bee" an airline direct from France to US.
  6. Looking forward to this cruise. Anyone want to do a smaller, private shore excursion? in Funchal, 2- people for Viator 4x4 Safari Half-day Poncha, Mountains, Vineyards and Cabo Girão Small group ($45 USD each)- I already booked it and have 2 extra spaces. Nice or elsewhere? Helicopter tour?
  7. No longer going on this cruise.... the port calls have many other cruise ships in-port with thousands of other cruisers
