  1. Thank you. It went down to $168 today gratuities included so that makes it a no-brainer. Thank you for your help. I think there are plenty of specialty places onboard for 4 days so this is great. Never been to Playmakers so that will make it even more fun. Thank you again.
  2. I get that. Just hoping for a little insider tip. It's only 4 days and has hibachi so we're good to go along with Chops and Jaime's. Thanks for the BF advice. That's what I need.
  3. Hello, Diamond Plus but we normally eat in the main dining room with the exception of Chops for one night or lunch. Current price is around $215 all inclusive per person including tip and since I am taking my daughter this time instead of the wife I want to treat her to the unlimited dining package for all 4 nights. Cruise isn't until January but wondering what a good price is per person rather than a % discount which get manipulated all the time like the drink package does. Any help with pricing and when I should pull the trigger would be appreciated. I know about Black Friday but that is a long way off. Hoping I can get better than what is being offered now and hoping someone on Mariner in 2024 can provide some tips. Thanks in advance.
  4. I booked a balcony for my adult daughter and her fiancé for a cruise this Sunday. He can no longer go. My question is will she get double points since she will now be alone in her cabin and the only one going on Allure of the Seas? I'm thinking so but don't really know so thought I'd ask the experts. Thank you in advance.
  5. I like the new way of doing this. Lot less confusing. More reasonable and simplistic. As someone said above, you still have the same # of drinks, you just have to manage it a little differently to maximize it to your individual tests. 4/5/6 drinks is still a fantastic deal. Shelling out a little more if need be isn't such a bad thing but we now have options and for me will be easier to remember and maximize to my advantage. The last night if I am up I can still drink. After 7 days, it sometimes happens but sometimes I'm partied out.
  6. I peeked as I'm going in June 2024 and prices downtown are $500 to $1000. Canadian of course but ouch! I'm a Hilton guy just like Royal so I guess I'll start saving up some points for the Vancouver Hilton downtown. Nice and close by it appears. I looked at the Pan Pacific but it is too pricey for me. Luckily I can use points so should be free. Good luck. Anchorage isn't much better but Vancouver is definitely nicer from what I can see.
  7. Awesome. Great to hear this. Thank you for the quick response. I really want to go on that train. I assume it will be worth it even if it is costly but what isn't these days.
  8. I have booked a 2024 Summer cruise from British Vancouver ending in Seward. We get off at the end of the cruise between 8am and 10am. I really want to take the Alaska Gold Dome Service train from Seward back to Anchorage but it doesn't leave until 6pm. What do I do with my luggage before I board the train? Is this even doable or should I just take the bus back? Never been to Alaska so thought I'd ask the experts. We're Caribbean cruisers. Thank you in advance for any advice.
