We are booked on brilliance of the seas December 29 for a four day cruise out of Tampa. We needed an assessable cabin for my father-in-law. We were told there is no waiting list. You just have to call back every day. I did this every day for over a month and finally got an assessable cabin. Unfortunately, my father-in-law has passed away and I called Royal Caribbean to give back the assessable cabin because I’m sure someone else would need it. Without paying more money for one of the few cabins still left on board we were told we would have to keep the assessable cabin. Is there any way of making it available to someone who needs it? Certainly there must be someone on board that wants and needs an assessable cabin that would be willing to switch with us. Currently it is only my son who is going to be in the cabin now by himself and he does not need it to be an assessable cabin. This is certainly a flaw in Royal Caribbean’s booking system.
