  1. It appears that for pre-cruise testing, Royal Caribbean is recommending eMed Tests Kits are the best option.

I'm cruising from Venice in August and will be traveling within Italy for the few days before our cruising.

I'd like to hear peoples' experience with these eMed tests? Easy? Could this be just done on the day of cruising while we are waiting to board?

  2. For the RoyalUp cabin Upgrades that are offerred by bidding, anybody ever have any luck getting an upgrade with a "weak" offer?

I'm cruising Greece and Croatia from Venice in August and it's allowing minimum bids of about $125pp from our Balcony room to a Junior suite. I'd offer about that much for the upgrade but not much more.

  3. Questions regarding COVID testing (I just called RC Customer support and received a totally unhelpful reply - hopefully someone here can help)

I'm Cruising the Greece and Croatia cruise from Ravenna, Italy in August.

Is it correct that RC provides COVID tests upon check-in and I don't have to bring proof on checking in?

Upon departing the cruise (to return to the US via Bologna, Italy airport) we need to bring proof of a negative COVID test taken within 24 hours.

Does RC also make a departing COVID test documentation available, OR do they direct you to somewhere this can be done?

Our transfer to fly out of Bologna (not Venice like most) is all being coordinated by ourselves so I'm concerned about where this can be obtained with short turnaround

  4. I am traveling on the Greek and Croatia cruise on Brilliance of the Seas in August.

I have been monitoring my emails from Royal Caribbean for deals on excursions and also the Deluxe Beverage package.

Question is, when should I buy? Do the Greek Isle excursions ever get discounted more than 25%? This seems to be the best I've seen. And the only discounts at the Croatia ports  just say "pre-cruise deal" (will that improve later, even if just briefly on a sale)?

For the Deluxe beverage package, $60 per day is the best I've seen. Someone in an old post said they got $55/day but maybe that won't be seen again? Any tips to just save a few more $?

  5. We're cruising Europe on Brilliance of the Seas in August.

I have been looking at the promotions offered for Dining, beverage, and excursions, as they vary month to month. My question is for those of you who monitor the fluctuations month to month. What is the best deal we're going to get? Do excursions ever get discounted any more than 30%, Unlimited dining at $24 a day, and the Deluxe beverage at Buy-one-get-one50%off?

None of the dining/beverage deals seem fantastic, considering this is just to upgrade from included meals/beverages.

And I see a lot of better independent excursion prices outside of RoyalC (My only concern there is the convenience doing it through RC)
