  1. I have an annual policy with StaySure with cruise cover added and I've just found out that if one of my family tests positive for Covid on the pre-cruise test that we need to take in Orlando (we are staying in Orlando for 3 nights before the cruise) then only the person that tests positive is covered.  The rest of us will be expected to get on the cruise otherwise we'll have to pay for our flights home, any accommodation and we'll lose all the holiday money for the cruise.  Obviously we'd never continue with the holiday without someone (my children are aged 6, 8 and 10).  Does anyone have insurance that covers them in this situation or is this normal and the risk we take?

p.s - the insurance WILL cover us for the whole holiday being cancelled if one of us tests positive before we leave the UK as part of the US government requirement to have an antigen test before we leave.

  2. Yes I'd be interested to know if you get a response.  I sail in 65 days (live in England) and my children will all have to have PCR tests (they are not vaccinated), they have all had Covid this week and per UK government advice they shouldn't have another PCR within 90 days.  However RC seem to ignore this and we therefore are at risk of them showing positive on a PCR (but negative antigen/lateral) for a virus they have had in January!! Worst is we will already be in Orlando when they have to do the PCR so stuck out there.

https://testing.nomihealth.com/easy_registration/26/onsite Has a bunch of the testing sites throughout Florida. You can only register/schedule a couple of days out but you can use this to research the ones that would work best for your landing time. I believe they do both PCR and antigen testing at most of these. This site shows the times they are open so you can get an idea of what will work. There are a handful of them in the Orlando area and you can zoom in to the ones that are closer to Disney or the airport depending on your schedule. You may want to fall back on the testing at MCO as a last resort.  You can also order antigen testing kits for the vaccinated members of your party that you take with an online proctor. They sell them in 6-packs at https://www.emed.com/products/covid-at-home-testkit-six-pack?hsLang=en and in 2 and 3-packs at https://store.optum.com/royal-caribbean/.  You will have to have them shipped to a US address (wherever you are staying at in Orlando if they accept packages on behalf of guests).

    Thank you!

  4. Hi, we're going in a RC cruise on Sunday 3rd April.  4 adults and 3 children (aged 6, 8 and 10) travelling from England.  However we're flying to US on Thursday 31st March and staying in Orlando.  Kids will need PCR and we'll need antigen/lateral flows whilst we are in Orlando 2/3 days before we board ship.  Does anyone know somewhere we can book these?  I haven't a clue how to do this and can't find any information.
