  1. Sorry, I meant to take an image but forgot. Gonna blame that on the drink package! We are actually on the Liberty of the Seas next week so I will try to get images.
  2. Hi Jose - so glad to hear it! I hope you have a great cruise as well. Looking forward to it very much. Weather looks to be a bit cool but we will adapt.
  3. Sailing in January 2023. I am seeing mixed signals regarding if RCL will allow you to bring your own Red Bull onboard? Any thoughts? If it is allowed, can you put it in your checked bags or do you have to carry it onboard even though it is in cans? Thanks!!!
  4. Just to tie out since everyone has been so helpful in responding: We decided that honestly only my middle son (age 26) and I likely will drink to a great extent. My dear wife is kinda a 2 drink max (3 would be the most ever unless she wants the boat to spin) and my oldest son (age 28) is not much of a drinker. Son #3 is 20 years old so at least officially cannot drink. We shuffled the room occupants to put Son #2 with me and ordered the drink package for us. Everyone else can just order what they want when they want it. All good.
  5. Not an issue for us this trip as the Bank of Mom and Dad is paying for everything in both rooms.
  6. Both solutions would work for us, thank you. I do like the simplicity of just getting an extra room key for each room to be used just for access to the rooms.
  7. We booked a Jan 13th family cruise with 2 adjoining but not connecting rooms. Because we wanted to use two discount codes (one for each room) when we booked, my wife and I were separated. Obviously we plan to sleep in the same room and have our three adult sons in the other room. Can we do this switch before we board without messing up the discounts or do we have do do it once on board? If on board is the answer, how do we do this swap as painlessly as possible?
  8. Would love a few thoughts regarding the value of the Deluxe Beverage Package. For our cruise in January it is $83 per person per day. $83!!! I love the idea of having our entire family drinking what they want, when they want. But is $83 per day reasonable? Any thoughts?
  9. We have been to Nassau several times via various cruise lines. We have tried and tried to enjoy the port but honestly we find it to be a hard place to like while visiting with a family. We will be back this January and are thinking of just staying on the ship for that day. Nassau defenders - what are we missing?
  10. Just booked our family of 5 for this cruise. Our 3 sons are age 28, 26 and 20. This is our Xmas gift to all of us vs a traditional gift giving Xmas. Pretty excited. Who is coming along with us?
  11. Thank you everyone! Booked today! Very happy to be cruising again.
  12. Based upon your worldly experiences is there any rhyme or reason for the cadence of cruise discount on RCL? It seems like there is always some discount running but they are all just a bit different. We are planning a last minute Xmas vacation with a trip in January for the family. We have our cruise selected now but when yesterday's promotion evaporated the price went up by $200 in total with the current promotion. I am trying to gauge if I should just book anyway or try to be cute and hope for better discount in the future. Compounding this situation is the fact that the current discount looks like it will expire on 1/2/23 which is way too late for my liking to book a 1/13 departure. Any thoughts?
  13. Ahh, that makes sense. Not that I really need a beverage at 10:30am but they are pre-paid so....?
  14. Hello: Just a minor question that is not a big deal either way. We board tomorrow at 10:30am and our rooms are supposed to be available with our Seapass by 1:00pm. We have the deluxe drink package. Does that mean we cannot use our drink package until we get our Seapass at 1:00pm? I know this is a minor point but I thought I would ask. ?
  15. If anyone has attended this event, did you enjoy it?
  16. OK, I guess I get that. Will have to ponder this a bit. ?
  17. We are signed up for this as well on our cruise next week. What part of this is "Bottomless" if it is a plated brunch?? ? May cancel this now.
  18. I like beer. A lot. Sometimes (but not often) too much. However, I have gotten picker as I have gotten older. I now love IPAs. The hoppier, the better. Can I get IPAs on the Adventure of the Seas and if so where?? I'll sleep easier if anyone can answer YES! ?
  19. Thanks. We actually are not in a particular hurry and as such not looking to wheel out our own bags. It is more about what time to set up to be picked up at the port. Not sure how to find this out.
  20. Looking from feedback from those who have taken RCCL out of Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ. I need to set up the van for our pick up. How do you determine what time? It sounds like the process is more rigid than DCL so how do you set up a proper pick up time?
  21. Looking for some valuable feedback from anyone who has taken a RCCL southern cruise departing from San Juan. The itineraries look very interesting with islands that we have not been to in the past and the prices appear to be very competitive. I feel like there has to be some drawbacks that are behind the curtain which we cannot see. Is the cruise mostly full of Americans traveling to San Juan or does it have a a more Latino flavor? Or is it a mix of guests from many countries since it departs from the Caribbean? Help please. ?
  22. Our cruise seems to flex between $49 and $52 plus 18%, We locked at $49.
