I'm in the same boat (or should I sat ON the same boat) regarding Allure May 12 port change.  I'm not too happy about it but looks like we'll be doing a walking tour of some sort. 

We're scheduled on Allure in May 12, 2019.  The cruise line switched routes and now we're going to San Juan instead of St. Thomas.  I'm annoyed...I wanted to enjoy the beaches of St. T but now i cant.  Are there any "relaxing beach getaways" in San Juan?

I'm really excited to see the stars at night (Eastern Caribbean) but if memory serves from my last cruise there are an awful lot of lights on at night time on the upper decks (safety reasons).  Where on the ship can I go at night to see a bazillion stars?
