  1. It lets you pick which guests you are buying the package for, so it's not a matter of one room vs the other. No big deal, it was just a minor convenience to do it twice, and I was wondering if everything I booked would need to be twice.
  2. We're on the Navigator of the Seas. New to cruising, so have no idea of the class of ships. Do the ones that don't allow you to reserve for performances at least let you know what performances will be available, or do you have to wait until you're on the ship?
  3. Not to hijack the thread, but I have a related question. My cruise is only about 6 weeks away (just booked it 2 days ago). In the cruise planner, under 'Entertainment and Activities', there are things like tours, classes, lessons, escape room...but I don't see any shows listed. Are the shows normally not released yet, or are they somewhere else I'm just not seeing them?
  4. I've got a 17 yr old, a 15 yr old and an 11 (almost 12) yr old. The 17 yr old's 18 yr old girlfriend will be on the trip also. None are strangers to adult language (not that we use it).
  5. I'm just wondering if kids are welcomed at the comedy shows on the ships, and if the material is appropriate for them?
  6. Not sure what you mean by this. Are you referring to the dining/excursions linking, or the linking to purchase packages through the website? There are no 'others', it is all me managing my family because our group of 6 was split into 2 reservations because I had to book 2 rooms. I can see both reservations under my account, and each one has a Cruise Planner link next to it, and only the names of the people associated with that reservation are available to be selected when purchasing packages.
  7. We purchased the prepaid gratuity, but I'm a little fuzzy on what exactly it covers (or what it doesn't). I just purchased the Refreshments package, and 18% was added to that upon checkout. I assume if we go to any of the specialty restaurants, 18% will also be added on there, and possibly room service also? Just seems like that 18% is getting added to a lot of things already, when we already prepaid gratuities. I'm going to take a guess and say that anything that comes as part of the cruise (the main dining hall, your bags brought to your room, etc) are covered by the prepaid, but anything above and beyond that is not? Just looking for clarification.
  8. I called and had the reservations linked. It is only for dining and excursions. I am in the screen to purchase the Refreshments package, and don't see any way anywhere to add the people from the other cabin. Looks like I have to purchase it twice.
  9. Oh ok, guess I'll be giving them a call then. Is it only linked for certain things from that point on, or is it basically then viewed as one reservation?
  10. We had to book 2 rooms because of the number of guests. Both of these show up in our account under 'Upcoming cruises', but each room has individual cruise planners. I'd like to do things (for example, buying the beverage plan) one time, rather than doing it once for each reservation. I don't see any way to link the reservations so that all names show up when adding something to my cart. I did a search and have seen people say that it can be done, but didn't see anyone saying HOW it could be done.
  11. When they say '1 device', does that mean at a time, or it will only work on one dedicated device? In other words, can you be logged in on one device, log out, then log in on another?
  12. Scratch that question - I just looked, and it has gone down to $20 from yesterday to today. Guess I'd better jump on it.
  13. Do they go on sale often? Are the chances good that it will be less than the current $26 sometime between now and April 21? Great suggestion for the bottled water, they don't give a problem ordering a drink and a bottle of water at the same time?
  14. Yeah, out of our party of 6, my wife is the only one who might have one or 2 drinks in a day (but probably not every day). I don't drink at all, and the rest are not of drinking age. We will get the Refreshment Package and pay for her occasional drink when she wants one.
  15. Thanks for the answers. I think we're going to try to limit the internet use as much as possible on this trip, but my son is worried he may have homework over the spring break so we may need to at least purchase it for him. We'll probably make the internet a last minute decision, and go for the refreshments package alone.
  16. This is our first time cruising with our family. We just booked on the Navigator in April. I am looking at all the pre-paid options and am curious about one thing. I tried doing a search but didn't find my answer, please forgive me if this has been discussed before. They offer internet on one device for $15 per day. They offer 3 levels of beverage packages: the Deluxe Beverage Package, the Refreshment Package, and the Classic Soda Package. I realize that the prices vary by ship and cruise, but here are the current offers on my particular cruise: Deluxe Beverage Package: $49 Deluxe Beverage Package with Internet: $62 (meaning Internet is discounted to $13 per day) Refreshment Package: $26 Refreshment Package with Internet: not offered? Classic Soda Package: $9.99 Classic Soda Package with Internet: $21 (meaning Internet is discounted to $12 per day. My question is this: why is there no bundle offered for the Refreshment Package with the internet? The Refreshment Package is the one we are interested in purchasing, and are wondering why there is no discounted internet offered as a bundle with this package? Also, a side question: this is a 5 night cruise, but spans 6 days including embarkation and debarkation. If they charge for something per day, will we be charged for 5 days or for 6? And does it make sense to pay for days that we will be off the boat most of the day? Sorry for all the questions, hope someone will be able to help with some or all of them.
