Hi I am a first time cruiser.  Is there a schedule of events and do events require reservations?  If so, how and when can they be made? 

How formal is formal night and how do you know which night it will be?

Shoutout to all those cruise afficinados.  I am booked on the Mariner of the Seas Spring 2019.  I will be taking my first cruise ever (excitement overload).   Looking for all those little tips to make it the best experience possible; must have packing items, ship navigation, are reservations required or encouraged for dining (party of 2), how to find out and register if necessary for activities included (shows), dress code, how to find out if/when formal night is, room assignment?   I appreciate any advice or guidance.  Happy Sailing!

Hi I have booked a cruise for early next year and will be on the Mariner of the Seas. I have read mixed reviews on the overall quality of the food and ship.  However, I am committed to make this a great experience.  Looking for information on how dining works.  Is the meal plan a certain number of meals per day?   Are there snacks included?  If you do not do a drink (non-alcoholic) package, are there drink options at the restaurants with meals? Appreciate any input.
