Any Tips, Tricks or Secrets for Liberty Of The Seas? Best seats for shows? Best way to get on and off for excursions? Secluded spots?

We are trying to decide between the Tabayana Beach Break and the Tabayana Beach Snorkeling excursions. We have our own equipment. The Beach Snorkeling shows that it is an hour longer. Does anyone know if the only difference is the snorkel rentals? Do they both leave the ship at the same time? Can you return at the same time?

We are flying in the day before our cruise but the hotels in Galveston are very pricey. Has anyone stayed in Houston and then taken a shuttle in the morning to the port? Do you have shuttle suggestions? Hotel suggestions? Have you used Uber? Cost form Hobby area?
