I heard that Royal does not dock in the same location as Carnival. Do you know if there is anything around the Royal area? Carnival docks in Old San Juan so you can explore.

I'm on the same ship in September. I'm super excited! My husband went on a similar itinerary on a different Cruise line last May and absolutely loved it. So we just had to go back!

Does anyone know if you can get on the ship and then get back off in San Juan since the embarkation time is later in the evening?
