Hayley
I have an annual policy with StaySure with cruise cover added and I've just found out that if one of my family tests positive for Covid on the pre-cruise test that we need to take in Orlando (we are staying in Orlando for 3 nights before the cruise) then only the person that tests positive is covered. The rest of us will be expected to get on the cruise otherwise we'll have to pay for our flights home, any accommodation and we'll lose all the holiday money for the cruise. Obviously we'd never continue with the holiday without someone (my children are aged 6, 8 and 10). Does anyone have insurance that covers them in this situation or is this normal and the risk we take? p.s - the insurance WILL cover us for the whole holiday being cancelled if one of us tests positive before we leave the UK as part of the US government requirement to have an antigen test before we leave. Orca70
I too have a year long UK policy but have to admit that I haven’t looked into this scenario. I will now and let you know what they say.
