  1. Does anyone have a favorite lesser know free food item while cruising or Food Hacks. Pre covid I would make Ranger cookie ice-cream sandwiches.
  2. hello cruisers, I’ve been told from a friend that the Caribbean night dinner in the Windjammer buffet will be completely changed across the whole fleet. No longer they will have authentic Jamaican dishes, such as oxtail stew, curry, goat, etc. any longer. can anybody verify this news? I will be very angry, especially at the fact that loyal customers such as myself spend thousands of dollars for a great cruise and Caribbean dining experience.
  3. My family and I recently cruised onboard Symphony of the Seas from March 26th-April 2nd, 2022. This is our first cruise post-COVID and we were shocked to see many changes that we did not know about beforehand. A big example of one of these changes is the Windjammer closing throughout the day. It seems that the wind jammer was only open for breakfast and dinner while onboard, and it was closed between the times of 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M., and 9:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. This is very odd as the Windjammer is supposed to be the “24 hour” buffet where you can get what you want at pretty much any time. It made us kind of sad that we were not able to grab a late night snack or a quick lunch in the Windjammer as it’s one of the classic spots onboard that we enjoy. Anyone know why this is STILL going on even after things have sort of returned to normal?
  4. I thought this would be a good topic to add as i think i can safely say that probably all of us have been to the Windjammer and it would be good to hear what you love about it and also share some tips , tell us your favorite food they serve and which ship do you think has the best one on board etc. For us our first experience of the Windjammer was last year on the Independence Of The Seas on our first RC cruise and we loved it and thanks to Matt's advice i'm hooked on Honey Stung Chicken and the Omlette Station :D . One of my wifes favorite times is around 15:30 as they finish up lunch and bring out fresh Scones with Cream and Jelly. With out doubt i would say RC have one of the best buffets at sea and considering how many types of food they serve its not easy to keep the standards as high as they do. One good tip for anyone who is new to the Windjammer is that they serve pretty good Steaks in the evening and they are cooked as you wait.
