Hi, i have a question and hope that someone here has maybe experienced something similar i went on a cruise with my family, we booked as one family for 2 rooms. During the cruise i was tested positive for covid and had to isolate for 4 days (not the rest of my family). During this time I received a letter by royal Caribbean which states: “Please know that we will be providing all quarantined guests and their travelling party with a Future Cruise Credit based on the prorated value of time spent in quarantine and cruise time lost. This Future Cruise Credit will be issued to you or your travel partner via the email address on your reservation.” from my understanding my family (my traveling party) AND I should get the 4 days which i was isolated refunded as a future cruise credit, but now they only want to give me a future cruise credit, which i think is wrong?! They are arguing that everyone else was not quarantined which is right but they themselves wrote „all quarantined guests and their travelling part“ which obviously indicates that it includes people not quarantined, or am i wrong because otherwise it should say „all guests of the traveling party“ or „only the guest who tested positive will receive a refund“. Has this happened to anyone else and what should i do? is it even legal for them to write an official letter and then afterwards say „no we are not doing that“ ? I would appreciate your help and feedback thank you!

Hi all. My fiance and I will be taking a cruise out of Barcelona in October. We're in the process of trying to book airfare and are trying to figure out what time would work for a flight on disembarkation day. We're currently looking at a 12:15 flight from Barcelona to New York (JFK). Would we have enough time to make this? If so, what is the easiest way to get to the airport from the dock? Would cab be best, or are there shuttle services? Thanks in advance! Not new to cruising by any means, but this will be my first international cruise, so I wanted to be fully informed!

We were on a cruise back at the end of November and during that cruise we had a private photoshoot and purchased 4 photos to be printed on a board that we can hang. The photos were arranged in a way that we could hang them all together. We received our pictures last week and one of the pictures (ironically the main picture) was printed landscape when we paid for and signed off on it being printed portrait style. Once I noticed the error I emailed the rclphotos email address with supporting documentation showing the arrangement we agreed on and paid for and have heard nothing. I followed up with them this week and still have not heard from them. Does anybody know a way to escalate this? I really want this picture portrait as it doesn't look right landscape and was to be honest, quite pricey, so I want what I paid and agreed for. Thanks

Hi there! Jumping on my first Royal Caribbean cruise very soon. One of our stops has us at port overnight for 2 days. It will be a tender port so no docking here. I'm curious how the transportation to and from the cruise ship will work overnight. Is it a 24 hour service or is there a specific timeframe? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

If a guest is unable to make the cruise (Jan 5th) how easy is it to bring another person? I don’t think I’d like to cancel and re-book. Can RC simply change the name on the reservation?

Hello all! My family and I are going on Odyssey of the Seas in July. Being our first cruise, as you can imagine we are a bit stressed about the whole thing. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with landing at Ciampino and travelling from there to Civitavecchia. My main question is how long after landing should I book check in? I'm not sure how long it should take to leave the airport but know the drive by taxi can take anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, We're hearing that Oasis of the Seas is docking very early tonight (roughly around 12:30 am instead of the usual docking time of 5 or 6 in the morning. Im curious if anyone has heard of any reasons why this is the case? In our FB cruising group, someone suggested a death as one of the reasons the ship needed to be in the Miami port early, however not sure how accurate the suggestion is. Any information or insight is greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance.

I just purchased the all digital photo package and now I'm wondering, what kind of pictures do the photographers take? Is it only pictures of you posing in front of a printed pre-set background (like what you'd expect from your kid's school picture day?), or do they actually go around the ship and take candid shots of you doing whatever?

Hi all. Was just looking at old cruise compasses from Navigator of the Seas Southern Carribean Cruises and saw that every night but one the showtimes were 8:30 and 10:30, and this seemed pretty late. This wasn’t for the holiday cruise, though, so I was wondering if any of y’all had been on the holiday cruise and remember what time your shows were.

Hello All! First time RC Cruiser, I had a question regarding 2017 Theme nights or Prohibition Party on the Oasis of the Seas? Embarking 4/2/17 i've seen several posts about it from last year but I was wondering if they are happening this year as well? I looked through the entertainment and dining events/reservations and haven't seen anything about them. I would love to go to the Prohibition Party with my family in costume but I'd hate to spend the money and the event not occur. Would it be weird to buy the costumes and wear them to the casino if the party isn't happening? Thanks in advance!

Hello All, I'm a first time RC cruiser, when I booked our cruise last January (2016) I was told we could use our $200 on board credit towards the drink packages for our Oasis of the Seas cruise. After paying for the cruise and speaking with customer service, they told me they can't apply it but I can buy the drink package once I board the ship with my credits? Has anyone else ever dealt with this? I was also told by my booking agent that I could purchase liquor at the duty free shop and immediately take it back to my cabin, and the posts on this blog seem to argue otherwise. So I'm quite confused what on earth is right because I feel like the booking agents tell you one thing then the customer service agents say the opposite. Can a recent cruiser clarify any of this for me? Thanks in advance!
