I noticed that and it also says on the home page that they are CLIA certified - I've seen a lot on here about having the CLIA number on the test result.

We're sailing on 23rd July and haven't had it confirmed officially but we were due to visit Labadee, La Romana, Willemstad and Oranjestad but looks like the cruise is now doing Grand Cayman and an additional sea day instead of Labadee and La Romana.

This is if you look at trying to book a new cruise - the ports are still as was on the Cruise Planner.

The ship is also shown as being booked in on the Grand Cayman Port Schedule.

We are sailing on the 25 June on the same route and have the same query.  At the moment Labadee and La Romana are still on the schedule but the ship is booked in to the Cayman Islands when we are supposed to be in Labadee ?  We have only 2 weeks to go.

I booked Blue Hole and river rafting excursion. It still shows on my calendar but when I’m in the cruise planner it just doesn’t show up. There are others that show as sold out. I guess my concern is did the excursion somehow get canceled, but not removed from my calendar? Or is this fairly normal? Just wanting to make sure I don’t need to scramble and book something else.

That's interesting - I have the same experience with one of my excursions on our southern caribbean cruise.  It is in my calendar but doesn't show on the listings anymore with many others that were once available.  Others are listed as sold out - it does seem odd and hope that everything is still going ahead.

We are anxious to go back to Grand Cayman to experience "Sting Ray City", but Royal cancelled our Feb cruise even after an itinerary change.  I hope you get to go there!

I would love to go to Grand Cayman but guess we shall have to wait and see if our itinerary changes from Haiti and La Romana.

18 June, the week before your trip.  We are on the Mariner rather than the Explorer.

We still do not have any excursions available for La Romana or at least they seem to have appeared one afternoon and then promptly disappeared.  I have a feeling our itinerary may change to Grand Cayman.  When checking the cruise port schedule for the Cayman Islands I can see our ship is actually booked in to Grand Cayman on the day we are due in Haiti.  I think we may go from 4 stops down to 3 - not too happy about more sea days would rather the stops.

Our ABC cruise in June was originally 4 ports including DR. Now just 3. I was disappointed at first, but I can't control Royal. I now have more sea days for dancing...vacations are about going with the flow. I guess that is why it's called cruising!?

Hi - which cruise are you booked on. We are supposed to be visiting Haiti and La Romana departing 25 June on Explorer.

  6. We are due to visit Haiti and La Romana on our cruise departing 25 June but on checking a bit of info I can see our ship 'Explorer' is booked into the Grand Cayman Islands when we are due to be in Haiti but haven't received any itinerary change just yet.  No excursions for La Romana yet which makes me wonder if they will change ?

  7. We are sailing on 25 June, Explorer of the Seas Miami, Labadee, La Romana, Curacao & Aruba.  If you look at the RC website and search this cruise it now says it is going to Grand Cayman, Curacao and Aruba.  There are no excursions listed for La Romana. Anyone know if there will be an itinerary change?  It all seems a bit odd

  8. Hello - we are also on the same cruise but can see nothing has been added.  I did give Royal Caribbean a call a few days ago and they said excursions were not yet confirmed.  Everything has to be checked for safety and to keep an eye on the lisitings.  Interesting about rerouting to Bonaire - I would be quite happy to do that as well.  Royal Caribbean do go to Bonaire on a similar cruise.
