The tasting booth is definitely set up, and the guacamole is divine! The margaritas are included up to the limit dollar amount. Lunch is only on sea days and is only from noon to 1. Report # 1...done! Back to cruising....

I'm actually listening to your review of Sabor podcast right now (it's on pause so I can ask this), and you just mentioned the margaritas. That made me wonder if the made-at-the-table margaritas are included in the premium drink package. Anyone know?

Unfortunately, we will not be dining in the MDR on the first night, as we will be enjoying the Mystery Dinner Theater at Giovanni's Table. So stopping by the MDR during the day will have to be my strategy. I'm just concerned that, since we're doing My Time Dining, there's no way to know who our HW will be. :-( We have indeed noted her birthday on our reservation. Thank you!

Specialty restaurants...been there, done that...so not as special anymore (though always fab!). What I've never done is gotten the attention of the entire MDR focused on her. ;-) Especially, as you say, "listening to the waiters try and sing happy birthday in the MDR has been hilarious, English is not their first language and they arnt the best with the words." <-- That'll be a hoot!

Is there a HW for each deck of the MDR or is the HW responsible for the entire dining room? Or does it break down even further than that? Maybe there's a HW for X amount of guests/tables. I need to speak with him/her about my wife's birthday, and I want to make sure I'm talking with the right person (and tipping the right person).

Matt, have you confirmed that this is true? We've never heard of this, but if it's true, we're owed some points!

We're doing it on our upcoming Freedom cruise, sailing on October 18th. It's scheduled on the first night. We thought it would a great way to kick things off. I'll let you all know our thoughts after.

At the Mystery Dinner Theater at Giovanni's Table, you will likely be sat with other people. It would be nice to have some time to mingle before being assigned seating. That way, YOU can pick your tablemates, not Royal Caribbean, and hopefully ensure the most enjoyable experience. Also, it would be nice to pre-lubricate, so we reduce any shyness. ;) In light of this, we have created a little gathering that we are organizing through Facebook.
