  1. Where does one find the digital Set Sail Pass using the app?  I have completed the check-in paperwork and have a printed copy of Set Sail Pass but still would like to know where to find this on the app.  I have used this app on 3 prior cruises and find it difficult to navigate, always resort back to the printed daily Compass.  Have never found the Set Sail Pass; cannot make dining reservations using app; cannot even find listings of scheduled entertainment on the app.

  2. I am confused by how to determine tips for waitstaff in the specialty restaurants when we have purchased the Ultimate Dining Package.  We currently are aboard Vision of the Seas.  Our meal receipts from Chops indicate zero service charge for each meal, the 18% gratuity is added to wines and beverages on separate receipts.   I inquired at the guest services desk and was told that it is not expected to tip the waiters over the mandatory 18% gratuity which is automatically added for each meal; yet there is no 18% gratuity on those receipts.   The meal receipts show zero gross sale and zero service charge and zero cover charge.  I assumed that we should tip the waiters 15-20% based on $70 per meal, plus extra for any wines and beverages.  I do not want to short-change the waitstaff.  What is correct policy for tipping when have this meal package?

Bingo! Just savings alone on gratuities is good enough reason to go with online TA (couple hundreds for two and sometimes free massage or specialty restaurant or more OBC) that's why it is worth to check and also CALL them. Sometimes real person can pull some strings and get you some extras that you don't get while relaying on booking online alone. Be polite and ask, it will not hurt :)

Wow!  I booked with TA which sponsors this blog site and got nothing extra -- no savings on gratuities or any freebies or OBC -- nothing different than if booked online direct with RCCL.  The transAtlantic cruise in a couple of weeks will be our first cruise.  If we enjoy this then plan to do many more since now retired and that is what retirement is for...travel.

Yesterday I contacted the same TA to inquire about an Alaskan cruise, asking for balcony room for my husband and myself; then a separate quote if we are party of 7 people (including 2 small children and 1 teenager)  in either 2 balcony rooms or a large suite.  Getting prices was like pulling teeth!  Seems like a TA should provide suggestions but this one does not.
