Holy Land “Odyssey” - May 2023
Greetings from Rome.
The trip - 2 days in Rome followed by 12 night Holy Land cruise on Odyssey
The people - myself, DH, and out 2 teen boys
Our “Odyssey” actually began 2 days ago. We got up Wednesday morning and drove the 4 and a half hours to JFK. Boston is only an hour from us, but they only had a 10:30AM flight back and it was (much) more expensive Flight time was 4:40PM and we arrived at long term parking around 1:15. We woke up this morning, had Windjammers, and met in royal theater at 7:45 for our tour (Oia on your own, $59 per person). We boarded tender at ship which brought us directly to the commercial port where we boarded busses for Oia. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly but it was hard to hear him over the 2 small children sitting behind me on the bus screaming and kicking my seat.
