Holy Land “Odyssey” - May 2023
Greetings from Rome.
The trip - 2 days in Rome followed by 12 night Holy Land cruise on Odyssey
The people - myself, DH, and out 2 teen boys
Our “Odyssey” actually began 2 days ago. We got up Wednesday morning and drove the 4 and a half hours to JFK. Boston is only an hour from us, but they only had a 10:30AM flight back and it was (much) more expensive Flight time was 4:40PM and we arrived at long term parking around 1:15. Thought we had PLENTY of time but Air train
The first part of our trip is over and it couldn’t have been better. We got up this morning and woke the boys up before we went down to the Cafe - note to self pumelo is grapefruit not orange. Brought the food up to the room and finished packing. Took only about a minute to check out of the hotel about 7:45. We would definitely stay there again. Total bill for 2 nights including VAT and city tax was $524.
