Central Park view Balcony
The sheer size of the ship and amenities found throughout the ship. I've been on large cruise ships before but this redefines what a large cruise ship is. Oasis of the Seas had so much to see and do.
What was your motivation to take a cruise?:
What was a highlight of your cruise?:
In Costa Maya, we took an excursion to the Maya Chan resort and had an amazing time there.
What did you dislike about your cruise?:
There's definitely a greater emphasis than ever to spend money on restaurants, entertainment and other parts of the cruise than ever before.
Did you do any excursions?:
We went to Maya Chan beach resort in Costa Maya, which was phenomenal.
In Cozumel, we took a taxi ride to Playa Palancar. It would be perfect, if not for the fact that the beach is very rocky. Prices for food and drink were expensive for Mexico, but cheap for America.
How was your cabin?:
Cabin was great, lots of room. Could definitely use some more drawers/storage space for clothing. Balcony view was great and night views were amazing. I didn't find there to be a huge noise issue with the cabins. A little bit of noise during the day but no noise at night.
How was the food on the ship?:
Food was average. I'd rate the food in the main dining room and other complimentry venues as a letter grade of "C", which the paid restaurants ranging from C+ to B-.
