How Much Independence is Too Much? (with a Radiance prelude)
AshleyDillo replied to AshleyDillo's topic in Live Blogs
I'm solo too, so not distracted by my immediate party. But again I also get distracted by everything else going on when I am with my immediate party and see everything...maybe it's just us -

Jewel of the Seas - November 18, 2024 - So. Caribbean
beer12 replied to beer12's topic in Jewel of the Seas Roll Calls
So, Ben at RCI was great. We got the lower rack rate ($836) for a move from inside to outside, and $150 in onboard credit. I had this vague recollection of an onboard credit when we booked on Voyager OTS in August, but hadn't seen it anywhere in the paperwork. Well, I guess it showed up, too, because we now have a total of $250 onboard! FTW! -
They cancelled our reservation and didn’t tell us……😡🤬😡

Back on the phone, my husband….they want us to pay an additional $600 to take the remaining interior cabin. Admitted they put my name in wrong and this caused it but there’s nothing they can do -
I don't know what to expect but.........why get the UDP if you plan to eat most of your meals in the CK?
-
I recall reading that if you get caught smoking, they remove you. It's in the policy that smoking is only allowed in destinated areas and therefore you are breaking the cruise contract and subject to being removed or banned from the cruise line.

20-year old jumps overboard on Liberty

I don’t think so, anytime this kind of thing happens it seems it’s almost always on an open deck, not from a private balcony. -
MARGARITAVILLE or BAHA MAR…Which one to choose!
James S replied to PPPJJ-GCVAB's topic in Shore Excursions
We really enjoyed Margaritaville (11/6/23). We booked thru Resort For A Day. The lazy river was very nice as were the waterslides. Plenty of shade. Food and drinks were not included and very expensive. Food was a little cheaper inside than at poolside. We had a big breakfast on the ship and skipped lunch until back on the ship. The walk to the resort was not too bad. There was a lot of construction along the waterfront to you have to go inland a block and parallel the coast to get there. Sidewalks were crowded. Once the construction is done it should be a breeze to get there. I would definitely go back. -
You can't order dessert for the rest of the cruise, you naughty person, you.

Hello. I've sent an email to [email protected] regarding a low-sodium diet. We have the UDP and will eat about 1/2 of our sailing in Coast Kitchen. What can I expect when I dine in this low-sodium situation?

As @Fastfaller said, you can get a medical refrigerator. It is the size of a large lunch box. Here is the easy way contact RC special needs: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs

Thanks, Greg. We really are having a blast. Unfortunately we will just be on that 1, 4 nighter (8-15). We usually try and snag a couple of add-ons (just like we’re doing now on EX) but so far it hasn’t happened with these IN cruises (June and Aug) but there’s still time ! It would be great to finally meet you guys.

This happened to me. I was fortunate to have an excellent travel agent, who took care of everything for me. Sorry this happened to you. -
Thanks!
